The thing is that Christina went uninvited to Mariah Carey party and went out inventing things. And what the problem if Mariah doesn't like Aguilera? LOL that is cute, but no. Aguilera vocally couldn't take on a quarter of Florence Welch or Bjork's talent and she doesn't have the lung performance to compete with P!nk. While P!nk's range is lesser by an entire octave, she can move and in fact do acrobatics and aerial performances while keeping her vocals nearly perfect. Aguilera " does many genres " but not really, she only has two sounds. One of which I don't believe is her in " Say something " to some extent and then of course the loud and overbearing forced faux soulful sound that is kind of insulting to the likes of Aretha that involves excessive vocal runs and avoiding lyrics that she can't remember because she's just a mouth-piece and not an artist.

Unbreakable Flower It's not a comparison really, it's an example. People keep saying she is the best voice of our time and the voice of our generation when to be honest she hasn't really been on the charts since Maroon 5's song with her outside of " Say Something " ---- In fact that song is the only one that makes an impact on this generation she has put out since " Beautiful " which was going to be a P!nk song who is all about empowering our generation. But I still love her voice very much and she is an amazing vocalist compared to "singers" these days. I do miss her being on the charts but at least she's not creating horrible songs like 'We Can't Stop' that went to #2. Like how did that go to #2. I just don't get it. I didn't really understand your comment about how Beautiful was going to be a P!nk song. Unbreakable Flower I have to disagree as far as empowering goes. P!nk has done more empowering ballads than anyone in the music business right now and has done it time and time again. In fact she has given award show performances and though lacking the range Christina has - she has proven to have massively stronger vocals in how she can hold her voice. P!nk can hold a steadiness in her voice whilst dancing and doing aerial acrobatics which obviously aren't necessary for that song - but she can do anything Christina does in her own way. ---- Linda Perry only said that because Aguilera's was literally kissing up to her, Christina has proven to rub a loooot of people in the music business the wrong way. She kisses up to people for a specific amount of time and kind of drops them. This isn't hating, just a fact. Aguilera knew she and P!nk don't care much for each other so she goes for P!nk's idol? After already playing arrogant during their Marmalade days. Sketchy - shady - morally wrong. --- In addition to the previous statement, while I hate Miley - she has proven a smaller voice can take on a big song. Aguilera could do a decent cover of Wreckingball, but couldn't touch the original. I hate Miley, but that is a great and wonderful song if you don't see the video. Sometimes vocally lesser voices can be more empowering and work a song better emotionally. Both are stronger in certain areas than the other.
