I know how you feel, my husband lost his mom right in the middle of planning our wedding last year and my heart still breaks for him. But I agree, it does get better and we know she’s resting peacefully as we persevere to enjoy this short life. Many well wishes to you guys! ❤

I'm so sorry to hear this. In 2021, me and my partner's home got burgled. All my foreign jewellery got stolen, and all I had left were the pieces I wore to work that day, everything else got stolen. The most upsetting thing for me was both my cats were in the house, and they were traumatised in the weeks ahead. Any noises they heard, they just looked so scared. I am sending you big hugs 🫂 because I know what it feels like. I felt violated that all my belongings had been gone through and I don't know if I'm allowed to say this on here but I slept with a knife for probably the next week, I even took it to the shower with me. I was that worried they would come back. It was 3 men, I still have the cctv footage. Sending you virtual hugs 🫂 xxx

If you don't mind just a little advise. Get alarm system that has sensor for your windows and doors and outside surveillance cameras around the house and let the system be connected to a monitor center. If an intruder breaks the windows or even open the windows or doors the alarm will immediately go off. If you don't disarm in 20 seconds the monitor center will dispatch the police center. Yes it's expensive but for us it was worth every penny. Throughout the years we owed four homes in the USA and that was the absolute first thing we get set up and thank God we have never experienced a break in. It's so unfortunate that it's the length we have to go through these days to protect our belongings that we work so hard for. You hang in there. Time heaks all wounds. God Bless!

Oh Ellie I'm so sorry! I know it's not the same situation, but when I was very young (like 3 years old), my families house burnt to the ground. My parents had bought a 100 year old farm house and had spent years slowly renovating it when they could afford to, and were nearly finished, when an electrical fire took it all away. Thankfully we were all out of the house at the time. But after that, anytime something big or bad would happen, my parents mantra became "It's just stuff. Stuff can be replaced, people cannot." That's the motto I try to live by too. I'm glad you're both ok, and I hope you find a feeling of peace and security after a violation of your space like that

BEFORE you said people was saying you can’t/shouldn’t show your home, I said, this was completely random, or these people knew your house from the few clips of your backyard. Because you don’t really show your house like that. Too many people have amazing closets, and any other room in your house could easily be rooms in any other house. I don’t think you’ve ever done a house tour? So I believe this was just a random act of theft.👎🏾👎🏾 Have fun on your getaway🤗♥️
