Hi. Celery suggestion. I'm the same way, not a fan of crunchy celery. I will boil it with my eggs so it's softer. I like the flavor, not the crunch. Lol. Also try celery seed. That's a stalpe in most all of my summer pasta salads. Thanks for the videos.

Pork chops were the first meat I learned to cook after I was married. We were poor as church mice (my hubby was even in seminary) and, in the late 70's, you could buy 10-12 pork chops for about $5.00 at Tom Thumb. We would lightly saute the chops then simmer them in a Campbell's soup of our choice until they were saturated. Since I didn't eat meat, my husband would get 2 chops for between 5-6 meals. Cheap for newly Weds!
@SusanH5786 ай бұрын
@@cynthiaoconnor7185that would be AMAZING to have those prices back!! We don’t have any great butchers around…so we resort to the local stores & one cuts their own meat and I like their beef but their pork is nothing to write home about!

We always do a "feed yourself" night or 2 a week😅 when everyone "husband, 4yo and 6yo" ask whats for dinner i say "whatever you make" my 4 and 6 yo can make their own oatmeal, ramen noodles, chicken nuggets, spagettios in the microwave "obviously im right in the kitchen with them assisting as needed" they can also do PB&Js their self and if they choose something that requires more help me and my husband help them sometimes its simple bowl of oatmeal and sometimes they make the strangest things out of whatevers in the fridge and cabnet theyve found alot of "throw together" favorites bc of feed your self nights, it just means im not cooking a whole meal their dad might decide to cook or the kids might decide to choose their own and we all help our 3 yo make his 😊
