Nice kit, I'd just add some socks and clothing, and a sleeping bag as you mentioned. Not sure the Eski is the most efficient use of space though!

The key to a successful bug out bag is to put in it what works for YOU! I have watched so many different videos on "perfect" bug out bags, but it really comes down to: "will this kit meet my needs for the conditions I expect to face". Nice load out, and I have a Rush 72 for my current BOB as well!
@FreedomInMindtv3 жыл бұрын
Yea I agree. And the Rush is a good pack 👍🏻 thanks for watching

I have that Condor parang. Beat the crap out of it for over 4 years because it’s so cheap I never worry about replacing it. I don’t think I’ll ever have to! Damn thing never chipped, bent, or anything. Plus it sharpens up easy in the field. Nice vid, nice kit, got some ideas for mine. Thanks!!

I just found your KZbin. I was starting to think all the KZbins on BOBs were from North America. Thanks for breaking that mold. I've watched a lot of KZbins on BOBs but your's is different in one very important way. YOUR SHIT HAS ACTUALLY BEEN USED! Virtually all the others were showing brand new, pristine gear. There was obviously no experience behind them. Good job.

Glad you enjoyed it mate! I know what you mean, that’s why most of the time I just call it my camping bag but to me there isn’t much difference since it has everything I need to survive away from home and what’s the fun in getting all that gear if you’re not gonna use it 😁

For me I would pack some stormproof matches to use be cause in a bug out may not have a lot of sunlight to start a fire and as for first aid kit I put more gales pad and rolls and other stuff for big cuts not so much bandaids

if you find want something a bit slimmer than an esky; was playing around with my kits and one of the picnic sets you can get from spotlight for $25 works pretty good and is easier to carry as has a shoulder strap (i pulled all the picnic stuff out obviously)

Thanks for the tip!
@AdamPhillipsMelbourne2 жыл бұрын
Excellent, practical selection, vey similar to my own setup. Redreshing to see some aussie content, who else would include an esky? Maybe think about some basic repair items like large needle and thread, cable ties and gaffer tape. Paper maps of your area might be nice too.

Hi mate. Found your channel by accident & find it quite informative. I guess it doesn't really matter what you have in that bug out bag. as long as the necessities are there to survive a zombie apocalypse.!! With all that gear you definitely need that Prado to carry it. The weight of that Bug Out Bag is something you can improve on, either only have the things required to survive or replace it with something much more lighter to carry on your back. Also get an internal frame backpack that would distribute the weight accordingly. Great segment matey. You got yourself a sub. Cheers & Merry Christmas & safe New Year. There's nothing better than being in the outback bush.!! Greetings from Christmas Island.

Just so you know, when you edit your comment KZbin doesn’t let me know so I only just saw your question now. I couldn’t give you a timeframe unfortunately as solar is much less predictable than using a wall outlet but let’s just say that it definitely takes longer than charging at home
