When we were on Guernsey for a couple of weeks we used the bus, excellent system, and a few taxis. The Filter corners look a lot like 4-way stop corners in Canada. Yes, first come first served. If two, or more, arrive at the same time then the car on the right goes first. We have lots of room in North America, most places, so there aren't many roads as narrow as Guernsey. No new roads could be built that small. Where I live we have a 10 lane bridge over the Fraser River, so roads are very different on this side of the pond.

When you see a large vehicle approaching in the opposite direction on a narrow road, you gotta "Pave" it, dude.

very good i am sure you would soon get used to driving in Guernsey as with the lower speed limits you have more time and can take more care when out and about in your car.

A marvellous video ! -full of information regarding the roads of Guernsey - from experience the "filter in turn" does catch visitors out at first - admired the patience of the islanders watching the start/stops!
