I tend to think being brutally terrorized for 15 years behind bars would be a worse fate than sudden death. It'd be nice if Fogle just got into endless fights and got moved around from cell block to cell block, facility to facility...every time getting sucker punched or pushed down the stairs and beaten with hard plastic serving trays on his way to chow. Yeah, that'd be a more fitting punishment...especially if he had been given 20-to-life.

As a former fire/paramedic myself. I had one child case that made me quit. I can recall it like was yesterday. I literally put my hands on the guy responsible and almost went to jail for it. I'd happily do it again. I was also abused at age 7 and I'm still having trouble getting over it. Jared should never see the light of day again. That's what I believe.

A dear friend of mine just retired from the PA State Police. Patrol the whole time though he had many opportunities to become a detective. He didn't want that job because they have a high caseload of child abusers, and he told me directly "I don't have an off switch". You can't do that job unless you're really great at compartmentalization.

The judge just decided to drop my charges entirely... I now work with parolees at a Group Home...I very recently shared the same with some of my clients....One of them told me that had I wound up being sent to prison, word of what I had done would have pretty much insured that no one would really bother me. My Uncle, who works in the prison system (state not federal) has said that while it was true years ago that such offenders use to have it rough in prison, now, because of various lawsuits and court orders, the prison system is forced to segregate them into their own buildings away from the general population, and often these facilities are nicer and newer than where the general population is housed. So ironically most now have it easier than the general population.

You have to study the history of American ‘black debt peonage’ and why it was employed to understand why certain areas of America are overpoliced, as for pedophilia, it’s actually very simple why they exist, you see, people are not born straight or gay or trans, they are simply exposed to different classifications of humans throughout their life. If you are a male, you may at some point become exposed to men in uniform at a military parade and decide you want to grow up and be a soldier, some males may want to grow up to marry a soldier instead of become one. Some females may see a man in uniform and decide they want to grow up to become one. Unfortunately, a very small percentage of people become attracted to children when they are simply exposed to them.

Like you, I was molested by a family friend. He was 16 and it was 7. It was a couple of years. Unfortunately, not understanding that this was abnormal or wrong - hurt others. The 😊biggest regrets in my life are these. No pain I ever endured comes close to the pain I feel about what I did. It seriously sickens me. This led to sexuality confusion and even put me in a weird set of experiences where I allowed them to hurt and take advantage of me. I had a slightly feminine demeanour and my father couldn’t stand me. After my first divorce, I somehow end3d up as a dom in bdsm scenarios. Three failed marriages and years of therapy to forgive myself have led me down a good path. I was a victim but because I shared this behaviour - I see myself as whatever I endured was justified for that reason. People that do this are truly disgusting. I’ve never understood child porn. I think that when someone is convicted of assaulting children sexually that there should be no appeals and the execution should be televised and cruel to set an example. God Bless you sir

Hi Larry. I've been watching your channel for a little while now, and I have seen this video just around the first time you posted it. I did read about the Fogle case myself, and, as you succinctly put it, it's unforgivable what he did. I wanted to thank you for saying that you shouldn't let the people who do these things to you control your life. I've had, unfortunately, experience with something of this nature when growing up. It happened to one of my best friends, and it ended with her being murdered. I do my best to not let the trauma get to me, and I try to cherish my friend's memory as much as I can everyday. Thank you for the content, and stay safe!

I was a C.O. for almost 4 years in a medium security state prison, and I can tell you from seeing it with my own eyes that chomos get no reapect, and are cut no slack whatsoever. Their commissary is often taken by force, they're prevented from getting on the phones, meals taken from them in the chow hall, and of course assaulted regularly. I've seen chomos get stabbed, raped, and beaten within an inch of their lives. As hard as it was for me to know what certain inmates did to end up there, you had to treat everybody the same if you wanted to do the job correctly. Trust me, there were times when I didn't even want to hand a chomo a piece of paper or a pencil because their crimes made my stomach turn, but you have to remain professional and understand that C.O.'s are not there to punish inmates, they're already being punished by being incarcerated. It was definitely hard to look the chomos in the eye, though. They made me feel gross just being in their presence.

@n8ballnv335
@n8ballnv335 Жыл бұрын
@Blake Haas I tried to be one of the good ones, but it wasn't always easy. Some inmates made it very hard to remain positive. I also understood when an inmate looked at me, they saw the cop who arrested them, the prosecutor who prosecuted them, and the judge who sentenced them, AKA the system. I understood all this but just tried to remind them I was just there to put food on my table for my family, not to punish them, and that my past isn't exactly squeaky clean, either. If I could help them out somehow by getting something done that another C.O. or counselor or case manager promised they would do and didn't follow through on, or just be somebody who will listen to their concerns, I would. If they didn't wanna be bothered with me and act like I didn't exist, cool, but I would tell them if I asked them to do something they needed to listen. I would tell them let's come to the understanding that I wasn't there to make their time harder, so let's respect each other and don't go out of their way to make my job harder. I knew that inmates would do drugs and make hooch no matter what I did, so I would tell them to be respectful and just not do it in front of me. If I was doing my rounds or doing count in the middle of the night and they're shooting tats or drinking or whatever, just stop until I pass by. I used to tell them that I wasn't that much different than them, and that prison is just one mistake away for everybody. Say some guy is harassing my wife and I step in, he swings, I slip it and blast him in the jaw, he falls backwards and hits his head on the concrete and goes into a coma and ends up dying. I'm going to prison simply for protecting my wife. Could happen to anybody. It also probably helped that I have been visiting my 2 brothers who have been in and out of prison since they were 18 years old, so I picked up on a lot of little things along the way. Figured out after a few years that Corrections wasn't the path for me and I got out of it. I definitely learned MANY valuable life lessons in my time there, and have no regrets.

I once had a former marine as a roommate who told me a USMC saying,”It’s God’s job to judge the enemy and it’s a Marine’s job to arrange the meeting.” We could also use this saying replacing the word “enemy” with “sex offender” and “Marine” with the word “State.” I mean this only in cases where there is absolutely no doubt of guilt on multiple offenses. The reason why I say multiple is to eliminate any possibility of any extenuating circumstances such as a victim lying to set someone up for a conviction falsely. We don’t need to continuously house them in our prisons at taxpayer expense and risk them getting out someday.

Agreed. The people making the abuse material and actually harming children are monsters, no doubt, but many non violent offenders are victims themselves. That doesnt excuse it, but we need to be aware that SOME people can be saved. If god exists he will punish them when their time comes. And the stigma that follows them forever will never let them forget what they did. Many end up back in prison because we dont offer proper therapy and rehabilitation programs for them to reintergrate safely both their safety and, more importantly, the safety of the community. Many fall through the cracks because they end up homeless and makes keeping track of them becomes difficult.

I came across a question vaguely similar to the Trolley Problem. Who is the better person between the following: a man who acts on the urge to rape an adult woman, or a man who is attracted to underage children, but never acts on those attractions? It applies to any desire to harm others, I suppose. If my neighbor is always fighting the urge to steal my motorcycle, but doesn't steal it, is it somehow worse than another neighbor who has no interest in my bike? And like Larry said, what consenting adults do in private is entirely none of my business.

Turns out the guy had molested over 40 children by that point. He was finally arrested, and after his conviction, he had to wait at the county jail for a while before being transferred to the State Prison. My friend was a county sheriff's deputy and actually did consider asking for a transfer to work as a guard in the county jail just so he could take a few minutes with the guy. He ended not requesting the transfer, though, which was probably for the best, seeing how his kids needed him.

Thinking about having a sexual relationship with a man is just disturbing to me, I can't help it. Pedophiles are the same way, they're wired that way and can't help who they're attracted to. Now, that doesn't mean they get to be around kids, oh no, they need to stay far away from children because of the severe damage they can cause, physically and mentally, often for life. Are they sick? definitely. Should they be kept away from children? No doubt. I'm just saying they can't help how they were born. 100% with you on this topic. I try to look objectively at situations, but there's no way to justify messing with kids. Even if you're abused as a child when it comes to this topic you still know right from wrong. When I heard the details back in 2015 it made me sick. I would be in jail for sure if someone did anything to my nieces (family or not) It's sad he's in a low max because as you said he's relatively "safe" vs being in a mid/max. Great work as always.

Hey Larry you talk about how you didn’t want to tell a gang about paper work you pulled because you didn’t want to get caught up in conspiracy to murder near the end of your sentence. Did you ever worry they could find out the guy that wanted to join their gang was a snitch, and think you were hiding him m, even though you just didn’t want the guy to be killed. Btw love the vids, happy your back on the regular schedule

Mr. Lawton, another good informative video. I have responded to some of your other videos. My responses are usually of a 'reason why nature' not an agreement response due to my background. 'The FBI dropped the ball on this letting the girl record for 4 years.' First of all, what they were wanting with more information was what could be used for a Federal Wire Tap. A wiretap is an agent promotion resume' item, and its application is several inches thick of single page Form 302s. Once written, it goes up the agent's command. Usually turned back several times for red pen corrections. Then [approved] it is sent to FBI headquarters in Quantico, Virginia, where it sets for weeks and then is again sent back for red pen corrections. Then once approved it is sent back to be forwarded to a local Federal Judge. Who may or may not approve it. Why did they want enough for a wiretap? Because it is very probable that Mr. Subway was still having sex with other unidentified young girls. I shouldn't mention this FYI, but I will. 'The FBI was tipped off by an associate'. Your computer suddenly quits working, you try everything, and it still won't work so you take it in for repair. You are told you can pick it up Friday before 5pm. The very first thing all repair people do is get it to work. The second thing they do is look through all your temp files and pictures and videos, especially if they are in any suspicious file names. They see Mr. Subway's child porn and they call the FBI or police, who get a search warrant for the computer. They copy the hard drive and hold it as evidence, the computer is usually given back to you on Friday. Suspects are not always arrested until later, after a grand jury indictment.

He'll be fine. Guys like that don't have empathy for others, so he doesn't feel bad for damaging children both physically and mentally. He has a nice house in Zionville, Indiana which is paid for and a few million in the bank from motivational speaking engagements. He can't get a job like he had but he'll be just fine.

I was abused by the ScoutMaster of my Troop. Had not reached puberty and remember the night I awoke with a hand touching me. I pretended to stay asleep as my heart raced and my stomach churning. My school work suffered after that as did my social interactions. Having go be to 4 different elementary schools in 2 cities and 2 high schools also I never learned to associate with others. I had severe panic attacks around 14 and never finished high school. The only one of 8 kids in the family to never graduate. I stayed drunk and pilled up until my early 30s. Only after my mama died in 2008 did I tell my brother and sisters about it. Never wanted my ma to know. At 66 I am awaiting something from the current lawsuit working its way through the courts. I despise child molester and remember the man in Louisiana who shot his sons perv in an airport. The jury acquitted the father and I celebrated. You are right. My life was ruined and I never married or had kids. That part I regret the most. Thank you for pointing out these monsters and take care.

I was physically assaulted by my adoptive mother since the adoption, and she was killed in a car accident. Then I was severely emotionally abused by my father's third wife. (The second wife was also killed in a car accident on their honeymoon but now way would she have been abusive in any way.) It has taken me years of therapy to deal with the damage done to me by those two women. The third wife should never, ever be allowed to be around children. She absolutely hates kids and has actually said she hates kids. Jared Fogel should never be set free. In my opinion, he will just reoffend and I believe everyone knows that.
