I'm not an American, but as a foreigner I was just really happy and relieved to see this story ending up with people coming together to help their own, rather than ending with yet another black person getting shot by cops or by a white person. This story's the true definition of fuck around and find out and the white people that started the whole altercation, cause they didn't want to move their boat, just had it coming. She since kept it a secret till 2 months ago. She called me and started venting about things and she started spilling secrets because she couldn't bear the burden of keeping them and it just came out. I was a bit shocked but I wasn't too surprised because I suspected it due to his history of infidelity.The crazy thing is my mom knew about it but unknowingly took the secret to her grave. Overall I am happy to know about her and she's pretty cool. It sucks that can't tell the rest of the family because people are going to be left shattered and betrayed.

The KFC thing (47:43) reminds me of stand up by Jo Koy (Filipino). His sister had a Black man come round. His mother made fried chicken and Jo Koy thought that was racist. His mother said something like "but they love it." Then the fellow comes in and says "something smells good, is that chicken? I love chicken." His mum spun round to Jo Koy "See! He loves it."
