At the age of 7 ish, in the late 60's, I used my own money to purchase a cast iron toy model. I've been hooked for life. God bless.

What a wonderful garden tractor. I remember those Cub Cadets when I was growing up. They were one of the top notch ones back in the 60's. Thanks for the video.

We've got a neat little collection of Wheel Horse tractors. What got me into these things in the first place was my grandpa and his two different Cub Cadets he had when I was younger. Great machines.

I live in Henderson Ky. I remember the shop. My family was Beasley’s. Small world. I had a cub kinda like that. Cast iron everywhere.

No. I sold my grandads cause I didn’t have room at our new house. Wish I had found a place for it. Grandaddy had it 25 years I bet. It was tough

I like how this is almost an entirely Louisville-built unit. This guy certainly comes by his IH hobby honestly.

A beautiful tractor. Is it a horizontal shaft on the engine?

Wow! That's a $3000.00 plus tractor now. My grandfather had one of those in the 70s when I was a young kid. I always thought the headlights were cool and it made you able to mow at night. I now know you can't mow well at night, because I tried once when I was about 18. Complete fail as far as neatness.
@jhitt79 Жыл бұрын
Maybe $1000.

Independently poor, good one. Liked them since seeing one owned by my neighbors in the 60's. Just bought another one for my home after my 50 year old Wheel Horse died. The hydrostatic model will get rubber on concrete.

The rarest of the options is the M&W 9 speed. So you definitely don't have all of them options.

The cub cadet could very well be the best mower made in the day.they just couldn't seem to power them.good machine and a sorry too little motor every time.Owned 3 over the years,,dam motors went bad on all 3.kolar junk.

I don't want to burst your bubble but I had a 1960 cub cadet

Never heard of one earlier than 1961. If you could prove that yours is actually made in 1960 that would certainly be a rare bird.

@@ebinmaine well that was what I was told at the INTERNATIONAL TRACTOR AND IMPLEMENT DEALER IN MY HOME TOWN IN HENDERSON KENTUCKY ,, because t broke a piece on the mowing deck and had to order the parts and mine had a manual transmission .
