Two tier policing, this is one issue why the British are annoyed when we see these policing videos, but people are afraid to say anything now, I did sign the petition but did come to mind should I, I am getting on a bit now and pretty stable but i want this country to be Great for my Kids, Grandkids. I have never voted in my life as they are all Thieves, Liars but wish i had this time around. come May i will vote our local L4bor councilor out. nice chitty chat..atb K n S & Rubes

Yes standing up and speaking out can have consequences. I've had this in the early years of the channel. I hope not for the future. But like you I have something to speak out about. I want kids to grow up and gave the freedom we had. If no one speaks up it will be gone.

Re farms! My Dad still is a farmer. Small farms are long gone!!!! We were told with Brexit it would be amazing for farmers! Not true. Around Abbytown on the Solway there were loads of small farms when I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s now there’s just a few super farms! The inheritance tax issue isn’t what killed small farms!

I don't really think that it's all connected but more about more issues becoming obvious as various Govts. keep doing similar things. In regards to Policing maybe it's more a case of no point in doing anything about small crimes as there isn't enough resources to convict or house people already. Govts. have been pushing immigration for demographic reasons and to try and keep their GDP figures looking good but it's a fool's errand imo as the very obvious issues become ever more obvious. Some countries are no starting to change their views as more people become more angry at what's going on. Here in Australia our house prices are stupidly high and they're still bringing in more people. Mind you the UK does seem to be doing some pretty daft stuff from what I see. As to the vans I suspect it will be more about increasing numbers of people all wanting to park in all the pretty places and the locals and local infrastructure has to cope with it all. I just received notification yesterday that our home insurance is going up another 40% next year after a much higher increase last year as well. We live in a popular tourist area and it's getting ever more expensive so the idea of having someone living their life in a van parked out the front of our place really doesn't appeal tbh. Probably not a popular view on here but there you go. Not sure what the answer is but the world is looking increasingly more crazy every month imo.

40% increase is unacceptable, they can't possibly explain why that's gone up so much. It will lead to people not getting insurance! I get you point on leaving the small crimes alone however when we have a number of people who have recently been convicted for a social media comment, then again it makes no sense.

@@Roadshome Yeah on top of the bigger one last year it's a bit rude. Mind you the more adverse weather events, fires and whatever else we have the worse it will get and getting repairs done is getting ever more expensive. Mate of mine just had their house smashed in a big hailstorm. Very expensive to repair. I don't agree with what's going on but I can understand why they're so scared of social media when you see how people can behave sometimes. As is usual there will be genuine people protesting and then there's all the idiots that just need an excuse to cause mayhem. The world is looking increasingly more stupid every week it seems.
