Not necessarily awkward but certainly strange. When I was in eighth grade, my grade decided to do a giant end-of-grade-school sleepover. I was in a private school with roughly 500 kids. Only around 30-40 kids per grade. There was this one guy who was someone I really liked, and I knew he liked me. In the middle of the night during the sleepover, I woke up because I could feel like I was being hugged. I sat up and saw this dude snuggled up against me. I was shocked and I whispered “dude what the hell-??” He got red in the face and said he wasn’t used to sleeping in new places. I really didn’t care what he was doing, just startled me. I told him it was fine, just don’t tell anyone about it. I woke up late to find him being high-fived by his buds. It might be a bit weird to someone reading this, but at that point I was really low, and that made me feel really better that someone generally cared about me.

I was about 12 when this happened (I'm eighteen, BTW). I had a sleepover birthday party at my house that year with a group of my classmates. Once everybody else had passed out and I'm just about to drift off to sleep, I heard a terrible screaming from the sleeping bag next to me. My female friend, let's call her Ollie, had begun crying in her sleep waking all five of us up from a dead sleep. My mom had to come down and console her. Apparently that wasn't the first time something like that happened with Ollie. Another time, she sleep-walked into the middle of the open foyer/hallway while the rest of us were asleep. My mom was awake for some reason and spotted Ollie in the hall and told her to go back to bed. She did. Sidenote, my mother also sleep-talked at some point. Her roommate at the time told her to shut up and she did.

I was with my cousins at my grandmas house and we needed to go to bed. We didn't really HAVE a bed since the only previously open bed in the house was taken by my mom. We decided to do something we had done many times before... a pillow fort. Our grandma's living room was pretty big (and carpeted) so we got some blankets, chairs and clamps to make a place for all of us to sleep. In the middle was a massive coffee table which prevented free movement, but in the corridors it created around it made good places to sleep. It was getting pretty toasty in there so I got an electric fan and plugged it in next to me where I was. (the outlet was actually on a pillar and it looks pretty sick; I feel like i need to note that the whole downstairs of the house is pretty open and it's all like one room with the center stairs dividing it.) Anyways, while we were getting ready to doze off... we hear a very obvious fart. Since only the boys stayed over that night, this was to be expected. But this one was special. See, that night we had gone out to a mexican restaurant for dinner, and cousin B had ordered a spicy beef dish. I guess cousin B, this story's hero, did not have a stomach which appreciated his appetite. Whatever the hell he ate came right out in a potent, gaseous toxin that only grew as he kept passing gas under the low hanging, barely ventelated, hot asf thick blanket-roof of our fort. I'm telling you, what he let out smelled *EXACTLY* like what he ate earlier, and me plus cousins A and C could not keep it together. We CACKLED that whole night, cousin B was redder than I had ever seen before (laughing his a$s off too) which only added to the lazily muffled concert happening under those (probably forever musked) sheets. We had to be quiet because our grandparents probably would not appreciate a bunch of idiots laughing at the gaseous waste of our red comrade, but we couldn't help it. If you're wondering, this is still an inside joke and in our family it's known as "spicy meat". Lol

This happened yesterday actually: We had a sleepover at my girlfriend's house, and we camped outside the house, on the yard with two other friends and her twin that were there. (This is important) The other friends except her twin were saying things such as "one night i couldnt sleep because i was imagining fanarts of (me) and (my girlfriend). That was only the beginning. At night when we were gonna sleep in the tent, they kept pushing us together to kiss on the lips, but we had never done that and the most we did was simply cheek kisses, my girlfriend always being on the receiving end mainly because we are 2 - 3 months into our relationship so she's still getting comfortable with giving physical affection (she likes the kisses though), also making remarks like "im gonna leave you alone you girls can have sex". The twin never made those remarks but did do the "oooOOOooo" when i simply asked her "are you ok?" when she accidentally hit her head on some part of the tent. Made me and my gf extremely uncomfortable but we still cuddled and whisper-talked to eachother litterally all night so W. (Also W to the twin for having at least a bit of respect)

I was a boy and I had a sleepover with another boy from my middle school. We knew each other and only talked a little before then. He was shorter than me I was about 5'2 at the time 5'5 now and he had longer hair than me about shoulder length, I had typical buzz cut. Our moms knew each other from work and he had to stay over at our house because his mom had gotten called in to work overtime this one night. So we played games and talked and whatnot all night in my room. Door closed because I don't like open doors because, ghosts in the house. So we just play video games and are sitting in foldable game chairs chatting while playing and we talk about all kinds of things. We are in different grades so we never really see each other at school ( I was older in higher grade than him like one year older). So I learned alot about them I didn't know about at the sleep over. We talked about school of course. I learned he liked reading and writing alot, while I liked history and woodshop class. Also they learned I hated gym class because of the uniform and I was self conscious also I was short so I didn't like playing basketball. He told me he also didn't like gym class because the uniform made them self conscious too and the girls in their class were jerks to him and bullied him. I told him to ignore girls because girls are weird, mean, and dumb. He agreed to that sentiment and then asked if I liked any girls at school. To which I tried to dodge the question because at the time I wasn't focusing on girls and didn't think that any of them liked me,( plus I had just tried to ask a girl out recently and she rejected me and made a spectacle of it) so I didn't want to think about it. I asked him if he liked any girls, he said just as friends. Then he snuck in a little curious question, " well if not girls are there any boys you like?" I replied that I'm not gay, just as friends. He said," oh... well that's good". I looked over at him and asked if he liked boys, to which he replied by not answering my question and looking away. I decided to ignore it. Well it was getting later in the night and we were getting tired so I turned off the games and put my chairs in the closet. I needed a nightlight back then because I was kinda scared of the dark, so that was on a wall opposite of my bed. So I turned it on and got a sleeping bag out of the closet for him to sleep on the floor next to me in. My mom had already gone to sleep in her room and come to check on us and say goodnight earlier while we were playing. My mom is a heavy sleeper like me so she was out. Well I set up the sleeping bag on the floor and he goes over and sits on my bed and looks at me. I look at him and say ," um what are you doing? That's my bed and you are sleeping in the bag on the floor, I'll give you a pillow." And he's like" But I want to sleep on the bed..." My response is no this is my room and it's my bed basically. He gets so annoying we start wrestling and fighting on my bed for the purpose of sleeping on said bed. He's kinda weak and easy to repeatedly pin, but he won't just give up. Eventually he starts fighting dirty because he realizes that he is losing. He proceeded to give me an Indian burn( twists arm in different directions to cause pain) which f*cking hurt. So I pinned him down and shoved my hand under his shirt to give him a t*tty twister ( self explanatory). To which he shrieks and makes this weird noise. He then kneed me in the balls and whilst I was trying to recover, pushed me down and pinned me on the bed holding my arms like I did to him and putting all his weight down on me by sitting on my lower stomach right above my crotch. Well I was a growing boy and for some reason my body said hey now's a great time to pitch a tent. Awkward b*ner. He feels it but unsure he touches it with his hand, gets nervous and jumps back to the other side of side of my bed. We are now sitting opposite of each other faces bright red with embarrassment in a dark bedroom illuminated by a single bright night light next to us on the wall. He is scared and asks what the hell that was. I am flustered and told him it was an accident, that it just happens randomly at times and I can't control it. I tell him I'm totally not gay and it didn't mean anything it's just a thing. He asked if that happens alot if that is normal, I replied with he should already know the answer. His response was that he had no idea because he didn't know anything about that. I said, " how can you be my age and have a pen*s and not know that it's puberty?" He said," well because I don't have a pen*s...". Me fed up with his weird bullsh*t responded with," what kind of boy doesn't have a pen*s?" He said meekly ," I ...don't have one... because I'm not a boy ... I'm a ..girl...". I was like oh... OH. Oh gog Oh no. After that me and her just stared at each other from across the bed. And I got up and walked around over to her and apologized and asked her not to tell our moms about what happened. She agreed and told her she can sleep in the bed if she wants to. To which she said it's big enough for both of us if I wanted to. To which I just said sorry and went to sleep in the bag on the floor. She looked over at me on the floor and asked me if I was sure I didn't want to sleep in the bed. I said that it was fine and she should sleep in the bed, it's more comfortable and she's a girl. On top of what just happened between us yeah. So I fall asleep because I was tired and later wake up in the morning. And I realized I was in my bed in the morning... Apparently she had stayed awake and waited for me to fall asleep to try to get me when I'm half asleep to " get back in my bed". So I woke up but she was still asleep next to me in the bed. But I couldn't get out because she was basically big spooning me and I was up against my wall. So I started freaking out because I heard my mom and her mom coming up the stairs talking. And They were cheerfully chatting the whole time, then they opened the door and stopped mid sentence. I looked over at them and tried to explain it was an accident and that I had slept in the sleeping bag but then somehow ended up in my bed and I didn't know she was a girl. And the walked over and shook the girl awake and asked what happened. She covered for me and said nothing happened and she moved me when half asleep to the bed in the morning. As soon as she told them they went from very upset and angry to " oh ok everything is fine." And then she kept asking to come over and have sleepovers later, and she did on several occasions. What's weird tho is that our moms started shipping us and getting excited when we hung out together. So we did ... Often.

Here’s a little story: I’m 12, and this happened around 2 years ago at a summer sleepover on my birthday party. (My birthday’s not in the summer, but I like birthday party’s when it’s warm.) There were 2 other kids besides me there. My closet friend had a space on the rug, my acquaintance friend was a leg’s length away from me on the other half of my long couch, and we were just casually watching a movie. About halfway into the movie, my acquaintance friend just randomly jumped up. I thought nothing of it…for about 3 seconds. He got up, ran to the furthest corner of my theater room, but still very seeable for all of us - even if every light except the TV was off - dropped his pants…and swung his d**k around and around. Now , I wear glasses. My eyesight is a tad bad without them. Even with the glasses, I still can’t see all too well. Even with darkness surrounding his crotch, I saw every single glimpse of his swinging d**k. After like 4 seconds of penile swinging, he pulled up his pants. We all cracked up. It’s been 2 years, and I still remind him about it.

Mine isn't even that bad, had a sleepover at my house when I was in 3rd-4th grade and one of the girls was balling about wanting music to be playing cause she couldn't sleep without it. I was like ok, sure, but I didnt want to turn on the tv at about 2 am without telling my mom and dad. So i had to quietly go up the stairs (they were very loud when you walked up them) and wake my parents up to ask if I could play music. They said it was ok and I turned on the tv, turning the voume down so I didn't wake anybody up. I was really uncomfortable since I gave all the good blankets and pillows to my friends sleeping already, so i ended up sleeping on the hard carpet floor. I waited until I thought she was asleep to turn the music off, but as soon as I did she started crying. I was a little annoyed and I said i wouldn't turn it back on, so I just listened to her cry herself to sleep. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep before I was woken up by everyone who went to sleep hours ago. Needless to say, I was pissed off.
