An actor whose performances I enjoyed died of cancer on June 9th, 2022. I learned of the death 2 days later on Reddit--it was the first thing in my Home feed that evening. 😢

Bro I was at a party with a stuck up girl, literally after a few hours of partying she starts talking about having cancer. My mom died of cancer with out treatment. This girl didn’t have cancer.

I had suspected that my wife was lying to me for a long time, but what she would say was just plausible enough, plus "my wife wouldn't lie to me" or some crap like that. Anyway, I had been asking her for years to either record conversations that we were supposedly having that I had absolutely no memory of, or write things down. I had chemo years back, and if I was losing my memory I needed to know. At any rate, she was telling me about how she had asked me about a mathematical concept to verify that I was fully conscious, the golden ratio. Except then she said I answered with the numerical version. The thing is, in my mind the numbers are the Fibonacci sequence, and the golden ratio is stored as the nautilus shell thing. Gaslighting confirmed, and she's my ex now.

Definitely wasn’t enjoyable, but I once found an online friend faking her own abuse with an alt account to get the rest of the group to stand up for her. I went into that account’s comment history to reply to an old post and say “hey, she’s trans and suicidal, please don’t ask those questions” only to recognize posts from one of the times she’d made a new account because she was having an “identity crisis.” She confessed when I confronted her about it and I learned a sad lesson about how manipulative people can be.
