Glad to see you received your ASE. I’ve seen a couple videos now where the packaging looks a little rough. My local coin dealer is a PCGS member as well. That’s the route I’m going with too. Good luck! I hope you get a PR70.

ScorpMusic Yeah I feel like they could have done better packaging, I can hear it moving all around inside. Sweet, looking forward to us both getting 70’s! Thanks for the comment!

I am sending mine though my LCS....

I dropped mine off yesterday afternoon, they didn’t like that they couldn’t open the package. I had to show them everything off the PCGS website saying it has to be sealed. Thanks for the comment, I’m already subscribed on my normal KZbin account, but gonna subscribe on this one too!

Not sure about the numbers but the number on my package is 21199095 A lower number but may not have anything to do with the number shipped. The Mint could have other products going out the door on any given day. I sent mine off today

SL Smith I thought I might have been on to something. But I did start seeing people with the “211 instead of 212. Maybe expedited shipping? I guess if I get #1 or #30,000 I’m happy I got one at all. Thanks for the comment!

Your box isn’t taped closed, so you may not be able to get the COA encapsulated. Good Luck!
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
😮 didn’t have any tape, I noticed most others didn’t either. No marks that would show where I ripped it open, so I should be good!

I B watched a few of these videos mine came taped up on all 3 sides and it came in a square box it didn’t matter to me because I opened it but I’m curious as to why the used different boxes to ship these
@JosephG04295 жыл бұрын
coopite I say they ran out of small boxes. The small boxes had styrofoam to secure the coin, where the larger boxes used plain paper to secure the coin.
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
Joseph George they didn’t do much to secure my coin, it’s got all kinds of wiggle room. My friend had the bigger size box, and his did have tape, I guess it’s somewhat random.
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
coopite Like Joseph said, it’s probably just what they had on hand. I know for the people you sent it in for grading had to pay more for shipping, because the box was bigger. Thanks for the comment!

I was thinking about letting my local coin shop send mine to NGC he said it would only cost me 50 bucks but I don't know if knows that I would want the COA slabbed and other things he also said it could take about a month for me to get it back
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
You should be able to fill that form out and put that you want it slabbed on it. I believe going through the shop just saves you fees of the membership.

@@coinsilverjourney3581 The only issue I have and I do trust my coin shop. Is what happens if they say something went wrong or if they switch out the coin. I might just leave mine in the original box and pur it up until I get ready to sell it. I know getting it graded adds more value especially if it comes back pr70.

You just give me an idea of how dealers are attaining so many signed ones... they opened and keep the good #s or signed ones... I would had send it myself and not a dealer. Ngc and pcgs would never switch it out but a dealer.... think again
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
andy orell I guess it depends on your coin dealer and your level of trust. They aren’t supposed to open it, and I think if you’re a consistent customer it wouldn’t make sense for them to try and screw you over. Definitely better in your own hands then another, but that’s the risk you take. Thanks for the comment!

211 number here as my first 3, havnt opened it though and I paid for the slow shipping lol. I did find a coin on ebay that has been opened and his number was 21206223 and his COA says its number 22744, So I dont think it correlates.
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
Automotive Revive probably just the way the orders went out, which is good. Cause if the numbers meant something I would have got 21,333. Do you plan on opening yours?Thanks for the comment!

@@coinsilverjourney3581 im not sure what ill do with it, im not a coin collector or silver collector, it really is the first coin ive ever bought. im sure ill sell it but not sure if ill get it graded or sell as is.
@coinsilverjourney35815 жыл бұрын
Automotive Revive I personally am getting mine graded, I believe you will have a higher return on your investment. Check out eBay, and see what they’re selling for. Don’t wait too long to send it in, because you have until the 16th of December to get “first strike”or “early release” on the label.
