No dry sump = rod knock

If it is a bad lifter, you can stick a set of LS7 lifters or BTR short travel lifters. Maybe mill the heads for a bit more compression. A fresh set of valve springs and valve guid seals. My guess is a healthy bottom end. LS6 is hard to kill.

I've thought about that but Spec Corvette needs it all stock with a dyno sheet. So I'll wait and see at this point. It might be cheaper to throw the Spec Corvette goal out the window and do something like this.

@@bernierubbersgarage6066 the only listed mod that would net power would be milling the heads. Everything else is just reliability and durability.

Just out of curiosity: Are you running with a catch-can set up? Did you do the Relocation of the PCV kit? The PCV would be now relocated under the valley pan amongst the knock sensors with a nipple tube now running into the intake manifold. Are you dry sump or wet sump? Looking forward to your findings. Yes, I have a catch can set up with the stock PCV and the stock wet sump. The catch can does catch a little oil, nothing excessive, so I imagine it's helping.

Thats a sticking lifter my man...a bottom end knock is far more pronounced and consistent.
