What's the RIGHT Amount of Geometry for Soft Edges in SketchUp?

I tried using the arc tool, as you did. I drew a small tangent arc, then went to the entity info window and changed the number of segments in the arc to three. I then ran the arc around my cube with follow me. I wound up with pretty much the same thiing you got by using your second method.
