What’s Wrong With My Classic Mini?!

Welcome back to the Mini!

Looks to be a pretty tidy car. I have a very similar '97 BRG with black leather except for the Sportpack. The wood is obviously personal choice (I like it and fitted the door caps on mine). I prefer the aluminium handles and winders though and I think they look ok with the wood. My wheels are the smaller 12 inch ones - I found it was cheaper to buy a complete new wheel and tyre set rather than get the wheels refurbished (my tyres needed replacement due to age anyway). I like to keep it fairly original - but some aftermarket stuff looks ok - for example, Smiffy's Bits does a lot of stainless steel bits and pieces for under the bonnet. Some are a bit too bling for me, but there is stainless steel plate that you can fit around the bonnet catch, which looks good for example. Good luck with your Mini.

Good call on the Union Jack Deca,l along with the rest of the plan for your new mini. Just watch your head when you are working under the hood, the bonnet catch hurts like a mofo if you bump your swede on it.
