I read some forums on this topic of the Chrysler door. One mentioned that the child lock switch may be on the back side of sliding door, so as you are facing the rear of the vehicle with the left sliding door open it may be there. Try white lithium spray grease on your lock (maybe stuck) and the door track and also the track for the moon roof to get rid of the squeaking. It sticks around longer than WD-40 (liquid spray) and sticks to the spot you spray it.

Found the switch and both doors were in the unlocked position

Hey Ken, that’s the main cause of the sunroof leaking. Bugs and debris gets stuck in the hoses leading down to you wheel wells. If you have an air compressor gentle blow some air into it. Also the more have been instances where the sunroof itself was misaligned causing it to leak there should be adjustment screws on the sides which you just loosen and slightly slide the glass forward or backwards depending on where it leaks from. I would have Carol or Ben spray the roof while your inside to see if it’s the glass leaking

I used weed eater string on my car to clear the sunroof drains. And then flushed out with 2 bottles of water.

I did google the issue, you can pop off the area arounf the handle with a flathead screwdriver as it just snaps on.. then you can unhook the bar that connects to the lock so the lock wont be stuck anymore and it should allow you to freely open to door if you dont want to take apart the door to fix the proper issue.

Before investing in the parts for the doors, can't hurt to check out those scrap/wreck yards, you might get complete working doors and it'll be a fraction of what it would otherwise cost you.... Keep Rusty well and cared for.

The sunroof leak could be the roof rack on that side and the rubber seal under the front bar. The door looks like the rear latch in the door is not releasing. Open the door and then WD40 the back latch on the door. The door releases at the back then pops open to slide back. As the motor works is the door lock for sure. Also WD40 the headlights and see if the foggy gets better? Need to keep Rusty alive.

That a 100% positive but if the the door isn’t unlocking it’s one or two things one the switch on the door or there’s a short going to the lock itself! I had a similar problem with my drivers door and it was these problems

I just wrote up a huge explanation of whats going on, and it never posted even though it said it did. So I'll paraphrase. But it seems like the locking mechanism is catching because the door might not fully be closing or the latch is bent slightly. The switch on the headliner is for child lock on the rear sliding doors. It only disables the switches located on the B-Pillar from being pressed while car is in operation. I believe i might know a work around to get the door functional for you. Please shoot me a Private message on here, and we can figure a way to chat. I have a few things Id like you to test to see if it helps.

Ken, I have a 2011 Ram 1500 (Laramie, not sure if that matters), and if I push the unlock button 3 times and hold it on the third, it will lower the front windows, until you let go of the button. You should see if Rusty’s key fob does that.
