Hello Sir i hope you’re doing well I have my appointment date on August. 28.2023 but my start date of school is 18th Aug. 2023. I tried to book for an expedited appointment but seems my country don’t qualify for that and now am planning to apply to a third country (Senegal) am Gambian by nationality. Do I need to cancel that appointment or should I leave it there and go ahead and book another appointment in a third country? Does that make sense?

Continue to search for date. If you don't get a good date, reach out to your school and ask if they could help you get a late arrival letter for your interview

Please is it possible to book for US visa appointments in countries like UK, Canada or Mexico? I asked because I heard you cannot apply for visas in such countries if you don't have permanent residence there. Kindly confirm.

Yes, you can book in those countries. Except that, sometimes it’s difficult getting your visa approved in a third country. But we know people who have been approved in UK and Canada though they weren’t permanent residence of these countries. We don’t know any in Mexico
