I'm 100kg/220lbs. Best money I ever spent was the Fone CWC 8m. It's wind range is between 12-18 mph. It has doubled my time on the water during the wind droughts of the Chicago Summers It's very powerful and is the easiest wing to get up on foil. If the wind is light and there are still waves, the big wing helps me balance on the board in the chop. Being able to get up quick and out of the chop is really nice. The downside to the huge wing is gybing. It's just a big wing to swing around.

hello! i am 145lbs (66kg) and have a 4.5 and 6.0 duotone slick sls wings. I want to get a third one for wind that blows constantly above 20kt (23mph). Could you advise me if it would be better to go for a 3.0 or a 3.5 ? Thanks! (lake riding most of the time)

I have the same size wings as you, a 6.0m for lighter conditions and a 4.5m for the moderate days, and am thinking of getting a third wing for the days with over 25 knots. I'm a bit heavier than you, at 77kg, and I feel like my 4.5m starts to feel twitchy with gusts over 25 knots, so I'm considering a 3.6m Ozone Fusion wing, with the second layer to make it a clean aerofoil section without all the turbulence behind the leading edge causing instability. I just watched an excellent review of this new wing from a guy in Devon Uk, and he said it feels a lot less twitchy in gusts, and you are able to point 5º or even 10º higher upwind, which is extra important when you're getting blasted on the windier days. Do you think a 7m wing is too big for a beginner to handle? Overall I live in a light wind area so I think I should get something bigger.

Great question, my friend. 🤙🏽 In my opinion, the right answer is somewhere between how tall you are and how desperate you are to ride in the lightest conditions. I'm 6'0" and rely on a 7m all summer. Good winds to you! -Aaron
