A few things: 1: Try Ink Vac projectile+explosion 2: Try throwing Booyah bomb onto a wall that the person with Booyah bomb shield is next to 3: Do this for big bubbler+crab tank

I once got a single hand wipeout by shooting my last trizooka shot at a person who just popped booyah bomb. Also I didn't know the person was there, I shot into mid trying to get more control and I instead got a wipeout. Trizooka is something else

I use Crab Tank with Object Shredder and it makes it very easy to obliterate Booyah Bombs, Big Bubblers and other Crab Tanks. Best gear decision I ever made

A thing I noticed is some people don‘t press down when charging their bomb, therefore if you don‘t hear the charging sound at a high frequency, shoot the person until the shield breaks

Not a special, but I would also like to point out to splatana stamper users, that a direct charge slash completely shreds the booyah, with 2 or 3 slashes, I’m pretty sure

by this logic, wiper is probably pretty decent at shredding too, though I’ve never tried it

It's because Stamper and Wiper have overlapping hitboxes, so they deal heavy damage up close. Stamper specifically is tied for second best DPS, but only up close, and charged shots are best.

There are some special that curiously you better wait for the window. I once had the ultrastamp on my hand, and I waited for an ink vac user that was aiming directly at me; to then when the ink vac ended I threw the hammer and got the splat lol.

Special Power Up doesn't do anything to improve the Booyah Bomb itself, just the charge time and throw speed.

Special power up doesnt actually increase booyah bomb damage, it just increases charging speed and throwing speed which is why there was no difference
