As a packers fan I feel bad for Williams Kids clearly got a ton of talent but it’s so obvious that he isn’t being grown in Chicago. Just things like basic game management the bears are inept at. A young QB can get by and get wins with just solid game management and talent while their greater skills develop

Like the "Edsels" in Detroit! It always starts w bad owners! Edsels won 3 world titles in 50s and played in a 4th. Then Wm. Clay Ford - the black sheep of iconic Ford family bought the Lions and fr 65 yrs made them "Edsels"!!!

"Packers vs. Vikings Preview" -- the whole thing devoted to what the Vikings should do about Darnold next year. The narrative is set. The national media doesn't really like talking about how the Vikings are doing now, so they found a loophole to deal with a current 13-2 team by talking about next year instead. Colin almost sounded disappointed that Wannstedt snuck in that he thinks the Vikings will win the division this year.

That is not why the NFL has gone to more 12P and 13P which is the new 21 personnel, and running the football more than they have over the past 5 years. It is because of defences using more hydros players to defend the RPO with more 4-2-5 or nickel packages as their base defence. Defences now have to account for the run pass option and have a safety who can nail down but then also come up and for the run vs a TE but then also have to cover that athletic TE. This has made for lighter boxes and smaller players and the athleticism of OT and OG can get these guys running more wide zone concepts and cut back against these following LBs
