In the Italy-Scot match, the commentator said Du Pont is the best player in the world.

He definitely is one of the best players right now. Along with Eben and PSdT. And a few others like Finn.

@ I think the point is that (certainly in South Africa), we do rate him, we just don't think he's the greatest player of all-time.

Good chat Peter- yip it’s great that the 6N has started again ! I really enjoy it and watching the styles of Northern hemisphere , their players coaches and tactics. What a good build up to the Lions tour in a few months here in Australia. Although many of your followers - and yourself ,are staunch South African followers and supporters please don’t lose sight of the other top tier teams - these days any team can win on the day! It just reminds and reinforces to me that the Bokke and their supporters must always be humble and proud but do not get arrogant or apathetic. If that makes sense!👍🏉💪

Cheers for the comment, Eric! I also enjoy the Six Nations - think it's a great competition. Yes, you are quite right that my channels' theme is Springbok rugby so that will always be the point of view from which I present a topic. I wanted to see how I can incorporate the Six Nations into that and I think I've largely managed to get it right here.

This is probably the best Italian side I've seen but I still cannot see them troubling the Boks

I agree. Best they've been, which is great to see, but they're not giving the Boks any headaches.

Thanks for a great video. Clear and concise. Correct, France too strong for Wales. England played 16 men imo and Scotland got lazy towards the end. Hoping for a Wales win over Italy though.

Thank you for that! Only area where I'll differ with you is that I'd like to see an Italian win in Rome.

Yeah. I am a Ben O’K fan - he is generally excellent imo, and lets the game flow - and I pretty much never comment on reffing (because players have no control of that). But the Maro phantom push in the air penalty, and the no yellow on Lowe after explicitly warning that anyone running in after a play would get carded. Two poor calls / no call. Refs are human.

@ Referees do such a difficult job and rugby is so technical that a lot goes unpunished or unseen every week. But I think what we all want at the end of the day is consistency.

Eveyone in this galaxy and the neighbouring ones knows that the Springboks are heads, shoulders and waist above the others teams. Besides injuries and officiating, nothing troubles the Boks.

That's very kind of you, Jean. This is a great period for Springbok rugby but there are a lot of other very good teams around at the moment too.

England haven't figured out how to play TWO halves and France isn't near as good as they think they are...Wales is just that poor, Gatland needs to be let go....he's fresh out of ideas.

Agree. England at least by my estimation are a team that has plenty of room for improvement. I can't see where Wales are going right now.

"France isn't near as good as they think they are..." What is this petty little comment... What do you know about their self-esteem? Stay in your place.
