Such a powerful message! Sometimes, the best way to be valued is to step back and let your absence speak for itself. This isn't about playing games, but about recognizing your own worth and allowing others the space to realize it too. Silence truly can be the loudest statement. Thanks for this eye-opening perspective!

If they don’t even know you exist, then why would they care if you walk away??? That makes absolutely no sense.
@stoickingdomoffical2 ай бұрын
*When you stop chasing them, something profound happens-the dynamic shifts entirely. No longer do they feel the security of your attention, the comfort of knowing you’re always within reach. Instead, they are met with an unsettling silence, a void where your presence used to be. In that space, they begin to reflect, and often, it’s in your absence that they realize just how much they relied on you, how much your energy fueled their sense of self. Stoicism teaches us that the act of stepping back is not about manipulation, but about reclaiming your own power. You stop seeking validation from others, and in doing so, you remind them of your true value. They begin to miss the steady support, the unwavering interest you once gave, and the more you focus on yourself, the more they feel the weight of what they’ve lost. True strength lies in knowing when to let go, allowing them to feel the impact of your absence.*

Every thing u have said is exactly what I was doing but last week she said she just wants to remain close and yes we was having sex but after she said that I went silent and 3 days later she all of a sudden cooked a ham for me said she would go for ride on motorcycle wanting to hang out

My gf got a letter from her ex. Told me she wasn’t bothered as he cheated. Four weeks later I find out she was texting. We go on a break, two days after break ended he’s round hers for tea - ‘for answers ‘. She says it’s not romantic but we’re meant to be supporting eachother building a friendship. I think it’s time I distanced myself until she learns respect and worth. But he’s a snake he knew she had a fella when he sent the letter and didn’t want her to be happy. Unfortunately, he got what he wanted . Help 🙌

@@behopeful1736 thanks mate. Yeah at the moment there’s no contact. I told her I wasn’t comfortable that she’s seeing me as friends and also having him around for tea. As it’s not the inital ‘answers’ i was lead to believe. She didn’t like that. She got defensive saying it’s nothing romantic. I told her I wasn’t comfortable. We’re now not speaking. Probably dodged a bullet. Thank you
