Folks, At the end of the day, this is your spiritual journey. If you’re doing the Daniel Fast, pray and allow God to really work in your life and help you understand the foods and how they effect your body. This is not a play by play diet. It’s not about following someone’s rules, it’s about your spiritual journey. Pray and allow God to show you what’s right for you ❤

Before the end of last year, I feel like the Lord is telling me to do Daniel's fast. Thanks, Annette for this teaching. This is the first time I did Daniel's fast, and instead of 21 days, I did 30 days. So I started doing it in early January and I'm on the 28th days today. I eliminated all animal products, dairy and sugar and I am feeling good. I did not check my weight because that's not the focus of this. I'm enjoying my time with the Lord and memorizing his words. HE IS SO GOOD! ❤️🙏

Greetings everyone Here is my testimony about the Daniel fast.Since from September 2023 until August 2024 something was just not right with my body.I could not even go to my monthly period all those months. After trying to do a 3 days Daniel fast.I Felt good with continuing eating healthy even after the the fast.Guess what?it was like the illness I had was never even there.I got my period back and my body truly felt good. The fast also helped me with gluttony, eating too much was never a part I wanted to entertain again.Even today as I type this message, yesterday was the last day of my 3 days Daniel fasting .I wanted to end the year special. Its good to walk with the HOLY SPIRIT,it gives much joy knowing you are doing the will of JESUS.

Good video. I've never put eggs in my bread nor honey. Only in the last year or so I've put olive oil but never before, just yeast, water, salt and spelt fllour (garlic powder and italian seasoning also but not all the time) and it always came out good. I agree with you on experience over rules, and love that you pointed out the verses and the limited description of restrictions. However I still feel there are some of your opinions and own regulations on what to eat. Why are fruits ok to eat, when it’s no where mentioned in Daniels fast. Processed food is new ofc and tricky because practically everything packaged, in a bag, or cans has been processed..and this is where most of the fruits and veggies lentils and grains are from. So who determines how much of processing in the food makes it ok to eat in this fast. It seems like everyone has their own “rules” and I find it nice that you mention these are your ideas however no one can truly say they’re doing the diet unless they only eat veggies and drink water.~Why not call it a dieting fast inspired by Daniel✨~

Coffee, when consumed in moderation, should not be viewed as a sin. When you consider that even water can be harmful if you drink it in very large amounts too quickly, you realize the key is moderation. If consumed in reasonable amounts, studies have shown coffee to have numerous health benefits. It should be looked at as one of the things God has given us to enjoy as a beverage. Too Much Of A Good Thing Is Not A Good Thing Due to the amount of caffeine in coffee, the argument can be made that coffee is sinful for those who consume large amounts on a regular basis. Opposite of the studies that show coffee can be good for you in moderation, other studies have shown that the large amounts of caffeine you would consume when drinking too much coffee can have harmful effects on your body. Drinking something such as coffee in quantities that you know could harm your body would be no different than the sin of gluttony. For a Christian to knowingly put something in their body in any amount that is harmful to them would go against the principle of honoring God with their body (I Corinthians 6:19-20).

Yes it’s a seed or a leaf like a tea leaf with water or coffee beans with water there’s no biblical reason why tea and coffee is somehow not included in the plants that are allowed on the Daniel fast it’s just a made up rule that you can have herbal tea but not coffee or black or green tea in moderation.

@@TheBiblicalNutritionist I’m pretty curious as to why animal products in general verses “meats” isn’t allowed? That’s what I’m saying and why I don’t like hearing ppl different interpretation of the “fast” which actually was just a dietary restriction during a time of mourning (Daniel 10:2-3). The word “fast” is used in chapter 9:2 but no restrictions were given so it can be assumed he didn’t eat during that fast which is what most fast comprise of. Ppls interpretation make this “fast” harder to do and more confusing than it needs to be. Ppl shouldn’t be in the cmmts questioning what’s ok, they should just follow the bible( only veggies, water, no pleasant food, meat or wine) or just call this a dietary restriction fast inspired by Daniel.
