Spot on. Before I experienced self-realization.... "I" literally asked for wisdom, knowing that "I" didn't have the answers for sustained internal peace. Asking for wisdom is admitting to our "self" that we dont know. Humility and surrender. Even said "I" am such a douche bag, "I" am soooo over myself. Please give me wisdom and clarity....to the questions, What am I really? What am I made out of, literally? Give me clarity or give me death. And then I trusted I would receive the wisdom. Unknowingly at the time, this was surrender. 3 days later, I received a book. I read that book through. A week later, while meditating, I became aware of the conscious being that was paying attention to the silence... I realized that you have to basically see through the illusory human character for the true self to be revealed. Anyway, I just wanted to support Ben's offering here. It's spot on. Surrendering all we think we know seems to be a prerequisite to self-realization. Anyway... Much love, peace, and wisdom...🙏 Yur' ❤ Perfect

Something magical happened when I stopped trying to make myself surrender and simply started asking god how can I be of service to you today? I love how you said I can't make myself self surrender that is exactly my experience. I been trying to make myself surrender for years! Suddenly I ask a question and the answer appeared.

So absolutely true and most people take everything so serious, also themselves. Life is beautiful and life can be very enjoyable despite all the trouble, stress, fear, loss, pain or whatever it is. Even joyful moments or neutral moments, when you surrender they feel even better, somehow magical. I just had two of these powerful moments this week. In one of them someone i was very worried about for days texted me right at that time (i found out when i checked my phone later) when I surrendered to the "worrysome" situation and even beyond that, surrendered to everything in that moment basically and in the other one i figured that people take even parties so serious in very safe spaces and then they still feel like they are searching for something, never satisfied, but when you look at this place (in that case that was a dancefloor in a club) from a little bit of a distance (in thought, while physically being right there), you can see that this is just a playground. A playground of many. Everything can be a playground in a way. My workplace for example, which is a more "serious" place, in reality it's a playground too and yet so many colleagues take it all so serious that they end up in burnout or frustration. See they joy in every moment, or at least the global, universal view that it all doesn't need to be so serious, cause on a bigger scale that all doesn't matter anyway and you can as well just enjoy being here in this moment instead of worrying about everything. 😊 And these are just some small examples. This also works with more serious issues and: One can always ser the advantage, even if the situation looks terribly bad, often these lead to huge advancements, evolvements or benefits later. 😊 Just a short anecdote. Amazing content from bentinho as always. 😊😊👍 Sorry for hijacking this comment section. I dont even know why i share this here, guess i got inspired by what was said in the video. 😊

The message here is great… finally, we get the real ‘other side’ of the teaching, which is that the ultimate happening is beyond technique. It is a surrender. It would have been nice if he could have delivered this message in such a way as to also communicate how calming and peaceful this surrender really is. However, his body language looks jittery, as if he is drinking Red Bull or something. It does not inspire confidence.

Hm. I don’t see him that way. Like he said, not only do we see out of the eyes but we create what we think we see. Or was that Jim Carrey. Oh well, same point I guess.

Dear Ben, I have watched a handful of your messages over the years & wish'd I might be able to message you privately, not to be heard, but instead to share. I believe God speaks to us in image & experience. Meanwhile, we use language, and the words therein are nothing more than symbols attempting to convey images and experiences. Additionally, the challenge of experientially receiving God's fellowship and guidance is made exponentially daunting because we live in a realm where lions eat lambs, deceit includes truth, and our self-will, lying emotions & dumb as dirt intellects are tirelessly in play... In my estimation, all of man's insight & theology promotes living on/in the unending carousel of Taoism- From Agnostic Taoism, Universalist Taoism, Buddhist Taoism, Hindu Taoism, Atheist Taoism, Muslim Taoism, etc... all the way to man's inverted Christian Taoism... We are plainly born dualistic, into a realm where God uses contrast to bring us to the end of our Self, that we might finally move beyond our notion of surrendering to God, which by default is yielding to be in balance/peace/rest, from out of our dualistic nature... It is an unending carousel of futility in so far as completion of the Call to Oneness each of us has been given the freedom to answer, or not. Ben, I believe you grieve in spirit for humanity, and I discern your greatest spiritual gifts may be those of teaching and exhortation. I mention that to you now because this window of specific time we are experiencing requires people to surrender, and you are intuitively attuned to that uptick. I'll finish this note by quoting you: "No method can ever replace surrender". I love that, but with respect to Self's innate propensity to invert divine insight, perhaps this flawed, yet different use of those same words is a bit closer to the mark: "Manifest surrender is choosing to be replaced". Shalom Ben, -MJ

I'm still waiting for you to explain why you said Oct 7th was "necessary". ..and now you disrespect being a baby as if we can't do anything? It's arrogant to believe you know for sure this period isn't one of great importance and value and not just "sh*tting" as you put it. There is so much that happens to our spirit, mind and heart during that period, which creates experiences we use constantly for the rest of our lives. ..and do you disrespect God's purpose in creating that experience for us then? Really? You refuse to accept that part of creation as valuable all the while saying we are all God? Perhaps your disrespect of babyhood explains why you disrespect the babies that died on Oct 7th. I don't know. I'm striving to figure out where you are in all of this. I thought you were beyond those who say " love for all but not for you". I'm thinking now more and more you're not. ..and you're also incorrect. There is a process for everything, including surrender. You just don't know how to teach it. There are others who do.
