Can you move the 10 year trip to the Sinking Fund instead of the Savings? It seems that it meets that criteria more. It looks like you may have to adjust your Spreadsheet template. You could duplicate the Savings tab. And I think it's great you're combining finances and have open communication about it.

The way it's made links everything to one overall sheet and it's more effort than it's worth honestly lol. I'll probably look at the annual numbers and just deduct the 10 year trip from that page for accurate end of year numbers. Thanks for the suggestion!

@@corkbudget I like the challenge of tinkering with spreadsheets 🤓🤓Where are you keeping track of your Sinking Funds? I"m assuming they are building up over time.

Oh I LOVE messing with the spreadsheet haha but with this being our first year using it together we have already changed a lot. For the sinking funds section that is something we changed already, it was investments. So that category works just like the "fun money" section which is why is didn't make sense to put it there. Currently the savings section is the only one that totals things up over time. I'll probably looking making a sheet for the sinking funds over the next few months. But for now since they are all in the same block the total will be included in our rollover at the end of the month and I'll manually add it up. I'm sure I'll get tired of it at some point and figure out a sheet

Ok i lied now that I'm thinking about it 🤦🏻♀️ the "investments" section that we changed to sinking funds totals just like the savings on the same page I just never look so they should total manually there 🙌🏻 I'll look at that now haha such a large workbook. Thanks for the question! Has me thinking!
