That is an unclear instruction to most men. This is what leads to arguments upon arguments in relationships. A strong man must know when to agree with his woman when she is making a good point and account for the fact that she is being her emotional self when things get heated. The problem with this is that if you are in a relationship with someone, you'll expect that person to care for you and be truthful. Most men see the red flags and make their best efforts to ignore them, because they're supposed to trust their partner and protect them from outside threats. If instead, you want the man to always protect HIMSELF from YOUR tricks and schemes, then you don't want a relationship, you want to play checkers with him. That isn't true for all women, there are still some of us out there who won't try to manipulate our partner. However, I do agree that most women won't want a naive partner simply because that person can't offer protection and safety in today's world.

Don’t give into this too much man. If ANYONE manipulates you in any sort of way, they aren’t meant to be in your life. Everyone is going to have their strengths and weaknesses. Manipulation and gaslighting is just bringing to light a persons weakness to ridicule them. People can say that you make it easy, but it’s not their fault that they have the passion to make fun of you. If you want to work on yourself for yourself then that’s fine, but don’t improve or grow stronger just because people are telling you that you’re weak.
