Remember for emergency stops, stop the car as quickly as possible - BRAKE THEN CLUTCH IMMEDIATELY! And also remember to check BOTH blind spots before you move off again or you will fail! Great tip: if you feel sick in your stomach, you’ve done it properly! Keep up the great work Francis! Super job!

On my test. It was doing a stop to the right side and reverse 2 car lengths. And whenever they let you do this easier maneuver. They will 101% also ask you to do an emergency stop. I was worrying. I'd have to do a harder maneuver, but then I got graced by an easier one. Then I almost failed it right at the end for almost not stopping on a give way line. Passed first time with 1 minor!

I never did an emergency stop on my lessons or test, but my gosh, I have done a few in my 7 months of holding a full licence 😂😂

When I had my test it was nothing like now with pulling up and being told you are going to do the emergency stop along this road. It was when leaving got told at some point during the drive I'm going to raise my pad and say say stop and you've to do an emergency stop. It could be near the beginning or at the end . Definitely a bit cruel but it meant you knew how to deal with the unexpected and not freeze

Hah yes! When I did my test they slapped the folder on the dashboard too 😳 fun!

@@DrivingSchoolTV yeah all the minors happened before the emergency stop as you where so busy looking for that folder moving. If you missed it failed. Then member them blindspot checks. I only did on lessons 30 minutes before test so it was super fresh to remember the blindspot.

Hi my question is about variable speed limits if the previous sign was a 60 (or less) , does the previous variable speed still apply when nothing is displayed on the matrix sign, or does a blank sign mean it is back to 70? I have noticed that occasionally there will not be a national speed limit sign displayed to indicate 'back to normal'!?

You press the brake as hard and as fast as possible, secure the car with P/N and handbrake, then set off with all around observations when instructed to.
