What you’re saying is really resonating with me. I’ve been very much in the ‘masculine’ space (in my mind) all of my life, and I’m married to a strong sigma hvm. I’ve never understood my issue(s), or even how to approach them. I know I have issues, but there’s always been something missing, and I couldn’t see/understand what to do to address them. I’ve even gone so far to just shutting down all my feelings because I could never find the piece that’s been messing everything up. You’ve given me an avenue to explore and I’m very interested/excited to see where it leads. I need help, for sure. Please make more videos about what it looks like to be - and live - in the feminine space.

My story is much like Sue's below. The message resonated but I want to know more because I need to reconnect with my feminine self. Your advice about how to bring out my feminine energy makes me feel like I can be restored and there's hope for me.. I was a single working Mom when my son turned 8 (he's now 25 and doing well). I didn't have a husband or a choice but to "suck it up" and take care of all the bills, my child and our next meal. I was mom & his dad too like many single moms. Fast forward 8 years, I met the man of my dreams and he was patient in helping me live my feminine self. He made me feel safe. We were planning on marriage after 3 years then he passed from colon cancer. Again, I "sucked it up" and survived. Now it's 5 years past his death. It took a while for me to move on and I would like to date. Your video is helping me understand where I need to yield and I SHOULD express my feelings (working corporate disintegrates that ability) and I want to. It's exhausting to be in charge all the time of everything. I'm ready for a change. You're helping.

I really feel that God sent you to me. This is exactly what I needed to learn and for some reason how you say it, resonates with me. I would love to have a video on how to express uncomfortable feelings in a way that is warm and not resentful. I struggle with feelings of angry and resentment when I don’t get my way and I turn my man off when I do that. Something with lots of examples so I could see it in practice on different scenarios😊

The two keys to a healthy relationship are just what you are talking about, honesty and vulnerability. Vulnerability can be a scary place, yet it brings two individuals closer to each other in all the right places. If I show my vulnerability to anyone, it allows them to be vulnerable with me and herein lies the possibility for personal growth. I couldn't agree more with what you are saying. Thanks for sharing!

What if he doesn’t take on board your emotional connection and doesn’t do anything to Fix it?

Dear Shannon, If you're expressing your feelings with warmth and vulnerability and he's not showing signs of wanting to hear you and take positive action it may be a sign that he's not willing or emotionally able to. I can't say for sure as I don't know your actual situation. If you come to my next #WednesdayLoveStream, I can answer your question in more depth.
