i come back and watch this video every single time my ED thoughts are really "loud" and i feel like i'm close to relapsing. when its super hard and i'm really down, watching this video and reminding myself of these things makes it a little easier, thank you.

This video is super motivating, no rambling, no exaggerating, just the very poverful facts presented with visible honesty, love and passion to help other people.

My eating disorder has been a coping mechanism for me. My behavior was me trying to cope with all the stressful things and difficulties in my life. If you are serious about recovery you need to find other strategies, healthier ways to deal with your problems. That can be a very scary thing to learn. I had to learn that too and it wasn’t easy but so necessary. I mean if you spend all day worrying about your body, food, appearance etc. you won’t think about other things in your life, important things. I noticed that with myself. My entire life was occupied and taking over by counting calories/ overeating. It totally consumed me. To all the people out there struggling with an eating disorder: Remember you are here for a reason. You deserve to take up space. You deserve to be happy. You are worthy. You deserve to be treated with respect. Standing up for yourself and taking care of your needs and your wellbeing doesn’t make you selfish. It’s fine, healthy and normal. You are unique. You are loved. Good luck 🍀👍🏻 to all of you recovering. Lots of Love 💕

Thank you for mentioning that size does not determine how sick you are! That's something I struggle with & it's important to know there is no single mold for an ED.

This video made me cry so much. I just can't choose between staying sick and ruin my life or finally start taking care of me. I hate it so much but it also gives me so much and i just don't think i could beat it after 3 months hospital and nothings chanted. I'm so hopeless but you're video gave me some hope back. Please keep doing what you do and help people like me you're so great. Thank you
