Isn't it because when he leaves he goes back into the body (since he's everywhere where the person is so he can pop out whenever there's a reflection) but because he's merely a reflection he does not posses eyes outside the mirror and is trapped in a bag of flesh aka the body

The mirror in my bathroom compared to the mirror in my bedroom are extremely different reflections. My bathroom is probably just really confused all the time. (why are you throwing up for the 4th time this month, dude!? But also, great I guess you're singing and dancing to miriachi music again, that's cool but also like I imagine he'd be like sad to stop existing and stuff) then my bedroom mirror is just always unhappy. He's permanently existing because I rarely leave my room. (please, god, could you just stop crying I'm so dehydrated! Drink something in your room for once god please! And, oh god, another panic attack? Stop hurting yourself!)
