There's absolutely subsections of Australians that are more... generous with using slang everywhere, ie. the further bush you go the more slang you hear and gets used I feel. I grew up in and live in a rural town, and there's deinately a difference between say my dad having a yarn, and people from the "big smoke" (capital city). i remember the answer to "Happy Harold" cuz it happened to me. I was shoved into a very dark van with my class and an adult and we learnt about the body and health with a giraffe. The giraffe was behind a wall for immersion but uh, it ruined my childhood when the last time we did it, there was a new person doing it and they just straight up took the puppet out, on their hand, looking obviously like a hand puppet. It was so sad and stuck with me ever since :C Extra: My favourite animal is a giraffe (So it was more painful.) Note: I was very young when this happened.
