It's actually quite easy. Some men are unhappy being men so they change, some women are unhappy being women so they change too. This is how I explained it to my daughter, she just said "ok." then went about playing with her Lego. If the subject of trans is complex, it is a YOU problem, not a problem for the children.

No it's not discrimination. The law allows organisations to treat people "more favourably" because of a protected characteristic. That's why you get accelleration programs in a lot of companies for ethnic minorities, LGBT, disabled etc.

If they'd not been discriminatory, they would not have this problem. They have only themselves to blame. This nonsense is not "fully funded by the BBC", by the way. There shouldn't be such a thing as a 'female only' course in the first place, unless some aspect of the job requires this, which operating a camera most certainly doesn't. Anyone can be good at it, so anyone should be given the opportunity to learn it.

i think a load of guys should apply for this course and then make a claim for sexual descrimination. i garantee that the gender mix doing pre-filming make up is a similar but oposite mix to camera operators. ask any group on kids what they want to be whn they grow up and a lot of buys and rarely any girls will say something like train driver, builder, or mechanic. a lot of girls but rarely any boys will say hair dresser, make up artist, fassion designer, or nurse. different groups have different interests and its not descrimination if this leads to that mix in the workforce. if they just hire based on skills and abilities then both sexes have an equal oppertunits for getting jobs and its not the employer thats descriminating. if their are differences in what sort of roles men and women prefer to train for. for example more men than women are interested in and train for construction and mechanical roles and the majority of wemon descrimate against training for these roles. if mix of people hired is similar to the mix of people able to do the role applying its not the employer descriminating. its certain groops of people descriminating when they choose what role to train for.

The answer to your question is yes. There is an inherent difference between the sexes in average relative abilities to judge speed and distance, attributes vital to any professional camera operator, something that no training course can address. If the BBC ever shows live cricket again (fat chance), stand by for balls being smacked to the boundary, or high in the air to a fielder, and neither being recorded. Being woke means having empathy and understanding for others. It isn’t a bad thing, and if you are being taught to see it as such you should seriously think about changing whatever newspaper you’re reading. As for those who are targeting or othering transgendered people they are generally only looking to distract people from something, normally failed ideologies such as austerity or the laughable trickle down economics.
