There should be mini solar stations which will feed the street lights.... every two or 3 suburbs can have a solar station.. there are lots of spaces in our communities to have a mini solar plant...

The problem here is that there so much of dirt road( untarred roads) so vehicle tyres pick up the dirt and leave sand residues on the shoulders of our asphalt roads when they use it. In Turn this leave our asphalt roads covered in a brown colour other than it being black

Solar street lights are not bright enough to ensure safety. No serious country installs them on major roads. Besides, in Ghana, the batteries are often stolen, making the whole exercise useless.

I am of the view that they will be connected to a central power source, probably away from the road itself, which would be powered by solar
@NanaYawObeng_16 күн бұрын
Well that will be an excellent idea, so as to not put more load on the already burdened national grid

The attire of the workers and the absence of police officers is the cause of the various theft on our roads. Unsuspecting users on the road will always think the thieves are workers. Contractors must dress their workers well and also work with the police, this is done in every developed country.

i think from the way they are rushing this, I have a feeling this will be abundant after inauguration by the president. I don't think they will finish it all. Is mainly for Nana Addo to say he has built this.

I am of different opinion, they aren't rushing it. This very project was supposed to be completed way back in June this year so they are even behind scheduled.

They will continue working. the project will be complete by the first half of 2025.

@@rock-lord6051Eii, Ghanafo). When a project is being delayed you get some people insinuating,when it's being done faster,just hear what someone is saying;"rushing for political gain". Hmmm,Ama Ghana!!!!
