I miss your Grandma so much. I remember her as a kid and having Bible study at her house on the gravel road. She would be proud of you. Great recipe. ❤🤗

I'm so sorry about your grandma, but her memory lives on in this beautiful dumplings recipe! My dad makes them similar to this way, and it just brings me back to when I was but a wee little girl and we would have yummy chicken and dumpling nights with the family. We all loved it! Such a nostalgic recipe. I love it, excellent job!

Thank you so much dear!! I know so many people whose grandparents made killer dumplings and it seems every recipe is slightly different. They had the magic touch back in the day for sure! I totally relive my younger years with every bite and I love it!

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I have awsome memories of my Gram, she used to cater to help her family. Oh my gosh her cooking was so good! One of my favorites was these pastries she made out of leftover pie dough. She would take jam and make them, I could eat so many of them!

I’m so sorry for your loss Courtney! My dad was the best cook too and I learned so many things from just watching him and my mom growing up gauging measurements by taste since he’s no longer here to tell me those things as well either. Hugs 🤗 sis!

I just made chicken and dumplings a couple nights ago. It's also a recipe from the family! It's a little different though. I like the idea to use the stock in the dumplings! Great video!

Thank you thank you thank you! I love the video and the pictures (Have to say I shed a few tears). I loved that woman and watching you make that recipe brought back many memories of watching her make them. Little kitchen hack for you...use a pizza cutter for cutting your noodles our in this case, dumplings!
@WhatsForDin8 жыл бұрын
Awww thank you!!! I actually cried the first time I made it. Just the taste was like a flashback to my childhood. I miss her so much words cannot express. I love the pizza cutter tip! I try to be gentle on my counter tops though lol So that's why I use the butter knife instead.

+Megan Shoff Hi Megan! Thanks for subscribing! 😆 That's a great tip! Another person also suggested that. I think part of me didn't want to risk scratching my counter tops so I didnt even think of it lol.
