Hi Taral, I have recently tried chicken rolls(similar to cinnamon rolls) and pizza base, both with perfect texture ...will try donuts and share the recipe soon 😊

hello there, awesome recipe would love to give try but just in case if I'll get failed I don't want to waste anything for that purpose can you please tell if I'll try with 1 cup flour yeast have to add 1/4 th cup but can you please suggest what will be the quantity of water, honey to add for perfect results?? and I want to skip refined flour and if I'll use oat flour what will be the quantity? does oat flour will help to make bread soft and fluffy?? because if I'll use only wheat flour it's gonna be dense no mater what. so will oats help to get market bread texture to it?? on which mode you have baked this bread??please let me know I want to surprise my mom by making healthy homemade wheat bread for her. and thank u for such lovely bread recipe❤😊👍

Hi dianz. This looks super good.. I am.goimg to try this. If I ihave instant dry yeast? I can put directly in the dough? And I also want to know if I can omit the oats aata? And use maida in that quatity? Or omit it completely? I also want to know if I can use bread flour instead? Since I had bought and haven't used it. 😊

Hi, You can use instant yeast and add directly into the flour , And u can omit oats flour and add bread flour or plain flour whatever u r going to use 😊

Lovely bread recipe..I tried making bread with this recipe but my bread tasted sour n bit dense..also my yeast didn't get bubbles even after 24hrs..it got bubbles when I again fed it n kept for more 2 hrs

I tried it today and it was perfect. I made it with pure wheat flour and yet the bread was not dense at all. It was spongy . I wanted to ask one thing how long can we store the bread??

Hi, This is similar to the sour dough , but not exactly same . But u can use this for any recipe which ask for sour dough and this will work just perfect .

Hi, Add 1/4cup of homemade yeast for 1cup flour. We can make paav with this yeast ...you can follow the same measure of yeast according to the flour and reduce the quantity of milk /water accordingly😊

Hi Dianazz.. As i dont have any mould or tray for making bread n no oven .. so i will try it in a steel storage round shape container.. so should i try it in lying position or in standing position? As i will try it in kadai or deep pateela.

Hi Shobhit , I appreciate you interest to try this recipe ...I would not suggest to use steel for baking ..see if u can find an aluminium one, if not as a loaf then u can divide the dough in equal parts and make balls like pav and bake like a pav itself ...but still u want to try as a bread loaf itself then bake it horizontally 😊

Hi Soma, Try to get it to a nice bubbling and frothy consistency...preferably try to feed for 2 consequent days and then start your recipe for best results....you can watch my latest video on “all about homemade yeast” (link available in description) for more clarity on this ...also don’t stick to any particular time(I mean hours) it will vary ,as this is a natural process 😊

Yes we can , but add some All purpose flour as well , else the cake will become dense .

Hello, I make yeast according to your recipe it is good not sour, I fed it 4 times and when it was light and frothy I made bread, after first proofing it rose to double , but second proofing it rose only 1inch and bread was hard, dense What care shud I take next time, I hv tried bread for 3/4 times same problem

If you are not going to use then refrigerate it ... the fermentation will happen inside the fridge

Hi Hema, That means You have to knead the dough more ...if not kneaded proper cracks occur..knead untill the dough is soft and smooth 😊

Hi Riya, I haven’t baked these in stove as my bread tin doesn’t fit in any vessel I have ..it might take between 50 to 60 mins.

Hi, It will depend on the quality of yeast and the temperature of the room where u keep the dough to proof. It’s a natural process and the time will vary . If using an active yeast and keeping the dough in warm place to proof , then it should take around 3-4hours for 1st proofing 😊

Hi Vaishnavi , If you are going to try recipe with homemade yeast for first time then start with recipe need less quantity of ingredients ..I have shared recipe of pizza with homemade yeast ...u can try that first and then start baking breads and buns 😊

Mam i tried this recipe. But mera dough bahut sticky ho raha tha bind hi nahiho Raha tha. I added more flour still it was sticky. Not able to bind what mistake i did. Please guide me

Hi Shilpa, The dough will be sticky... after kneading it should come together but will be still little sticky..it should not stick when touch with dry hands that should be the texture ... knead for 7-10mins continuously there is no short cut to kneading 😊 I hope you have taken all the ingredients in the correct measure ...

Hi Reshu, Maine Abhi tak jitne bhi recipes try kiye hai usme Mujhe kabhi ye problem nahi aaya hai....jaha tak Mujhe lagta hai the reasons can be 1. Jo curd aap use kar rahe hai for yeast making shouldn’t be sour (khatta) try to use fresh one. 2. Stick to the measure of yeast 1/4cup for 1cup flour..zaada yeast na daale ...usse bhi khatta ho Jata hai aapka dough 3. Yeast ko bahut deer tak unattended counter par na chode ,use ke baad immediate fridge me hi rakhe....

Hi, If the dough is not proof proper or not knead enough it can become hard. Sourness can be due to the quantity of the yeast, store the yeast in fridge. It will become sour if kept out for longer .

There is no need of baking powder n soda r eno in home made yeast recipe....... is that really so......?

Hii... i hv tried this recipe n it ws amazing..... thanks 4 sharing this great one.... bt i realized it is full awesome in looking bt on eating it was little bit of like halka sa kccha types. .. so on nxt time what should i do.... i think it can b solved by temperature..... pls. tell me ur suggestion.....n really liked it too much.... ty once again...😀

SHANKEY VIJAYVERGIYA thanks for sharing your feedback 😊one reason can be under baked bread( bake for little longer next time ) 2nd reason can be the flour we dust to prevent sticking of dough ,while knead and shape try not to get that flour inside the loaf (that happened to me once ,as I put a lot to flour while shaping the dough)😊

Burst I guess u meant cracks on top , then u need to try a bigger tin to bake , Else I guess the dough was not sealed proper .

Hi Kukku , Agar yeast bahut purani hai to khatta hone ke chances hai ..aur Dusri baat agar aapne bahut zada yeast add kiya to bhi bread katta ho sakta hai ...with this recipe my bread was fine , and taste was also good,you can try this 😊
