After Edd China I didn't think the show could survive. Ant Anstead did a great job and I enjoyed watching him repairing and explaining the inner workings of engines. Now there is Marc Elvis Priestley and again I am not disappointed. If they only could find a new Mike.

I got a question or two for you. 1. Why hasn't anyone designed a vehicle with a cooled steering wheel. If you live in a area that has very hot temperatures. Then you know its very easy to burn your hands holding the steering wheel in the summer. 2. Why hasn't any auto manufacturers created a better GPS system that gives you 99.99 percent more accurate location finder. Instead of saying you have arrived at your designation. Have it highlight the actual destination on the screen. Especially helpful if your in a business complex or a shopping stripmall. Or a a major intersection... sometimes the arrows are not clearly defined when your looking for your turns when navigating the street traffic and operating your vehicle safely...

Good questions. Lo-tech answer to question 1: use a screen shade when parked in the sun and the steering wheel won't burn your hands when you drive away (I use towels on my leather seats for the same reason). Using A/C when driving keeps the wheel cool enough. Don't have A/C in a very hot country? Buy another car. Trying to engineer a cooling device to work with the wheel, the airbag, the clock spring and any of the electronic controls on the wheel is too hard and not cost-effective. Also introduces potential problems with fluid leakage on the electronics and airbag control module that fires the airbag, plus you don't want the fluid to be any where near people's faces and eyes in the event of an accident. Answer to question 2: civilian GPS is purposely only accurate to within around 10 meters to prevent it from being used as an off-the-shelf solution for targeting by those who wish to do others harm. Military-grade GPS is extremely accurate by necessity, because you really want those guided missiles and bombs to land on the right target. Most times I'm going somewhere new and I need GPS, I do a Google Streetview of my final destination and typically backtrack a little to check landmarks or off ramps before the destination.

Other comments are way too critical of Wheeler Dealers. Its a bit of fun, a bit of entertainment, and as a someone whose scared to change my own oil, a bit of learning. I hope WD manages to keep the technical/mechanical side in the show, and not suffer from "filler" to keep production costs down as most shows have done. Ed China was great, Ant was good, so good luck to Elvis.

Them repair car's still these days and stuff too do with cylinder head gaskets ye need too change head bolt's every job most cylinder head's are aluminium when head bolts warp aswell and do imrie paper trick on bottom end of engine

This is terrible compared to the original and even second mechanic they actual show just enough to be worthless. Sooo much is left out that it is actually boring. I will watch the show to help me fall asleep. Go back to actually showing how to do stuff please!
