Pro tip: Add on to the end of your AI request, "And make me a shopping list of everything I would need to make these meals" and then you can take it with you to the store. Tip 2: You can put a list of things you have in the house and ask AI to make a recipe for you based on what you have already.

Poached eggs and avocado is a favourite breakfast of mine but a tip is not to swirl the water and then you can cook 2 eggs at once! I use a wide pan of water (a frying pan), crack the eggs carefully with a knife and drop them into the water from as close to the surface as possible (as opposed to from a height) and they generally stay together pretty well

For less drapey, ghost looking poached eggs, use a sieve to separate the thin white first - the thin white will go through but not the firm white. The resulting poached eggs are smoother, and much less stringy cooked egg white is left in the water. I still do the water swirl when dropping them in - I'm not sure it does much, but maybe they stay rounder? I slide the egg in at the outside of the swirl though.
@daniellecomeau29968 ай бұрын
Also you can drop the egg in shell into the poaching liquid for a minute to get cooking started and then crack that into the water swirl.

Saw you checking the date on your yogurt & then looking up what happens if you eat "bad" yogurt - Just a quick heads up that the date on yogurt is usually a "best by" date & not an actual-tell of when Yogurt spoils. Yogurt can last a good bit beyond that date & be perfectly fine, and then last a bit more beyond that before even reaching the point it will start to spoil. Your yogurt's taste may become a bit more "sour" ( think sour cream or greek yogurt ) depending on how long this is - - But you probably have 2+ weeks beyond the "best by" date before it even gets CLOSE to spoiling so long as your fridge is fine.

If you're ever cutting cherry tomatoes again, there is a great trick that allows you to cut multiple tomatoes at once. Get two deli container lids, place one on the counter, put as many tomatoes in the first lid as you can in a single layer, put the second lid on top of the tomatoes and place your non knife wielding hand on the lid, with your knife wielding hand cut in between both lids and through the tomatoes.

I’ve often had appetite issues, like very low appetite or queasy, every day until about 6pm when all kinds of food indecision set in once the willingness to eat become more visceral. What did I have already to make? Will it turn my stomach? I started making sort of template maps of food ideas and try to keep some pantry staples and it helps so much. I swear just grappling with what to make made the food more physically unappealing. AI sounds helpful for sparking creativity and getting into habits. And discerning how thick a pancake should be😊
