Whelen/Honac Liberty Light Bar, Dutch Politie (netherlands police green amber vw golf lightbar)

A Dutch Politie Liberty with green command lights and amber beacon. A Honac ECU controller and pcb is used to control the light. The green lights (custom made by Honac) were used to identify the command vehicle, usually the first car to arrive on scene. The amber beacon was used while on scene in place of the blue lights as amber was less distracting to passing motorists.
These bars were used on the primary patrol vehicles, VW Golfs, in the late 2000s. The green and amber lights were added late into the Liberty's run and almost all were destroyed following retirement. now this is an interesting setup for the liberty i like the green led halows around the mr11 allys pretty cool idea though the green heads were available from whelen directly still very cool liberty

Obviously the green halo (made by Honac) makes sense for the alley lights but I do not know why they used them for the center green. Prior versions used a green Whelen TIR3 there.

@@JohCraLights pretty interesting whelen had an option for whats known as a hostage light on these at one point (single purple light head in the rear) pretty interesting seeing the configurations of the liberty around the world especially since im an owner of a liberty myself this bar is a definet keeper for sure

@@JohCraLights In The Netherlands the green lights indicate that an officer is first on scene. It is also used as a point of contact for the supervisor.

Can you explain the what each option on the lightbar is used for in the field? Why does it have amber, blue and green and why can't amber be on with the blue? Thank you!

Blue is definitely the predominant color in Europe.
