Yeah could be. I sent my crush a song after we talked about bands we liked. It was my way of having an excuse to continue conversation. It was a really good song and I thought he'd like hearing new music,, but I didn't think til later that it was rather a "I want you" song lol. I called him out on it a long time ago, I told him right out I know what I want and it' s not in and out, on a merrygo round or being played, I even pulled the same shit on him that he did to me at first out of anger, hurt and spite , I avoided him for 2 months, then he finally reached out, in the meantime I didn' t obsess and I worked on bettering myself body, mind, soul and financially, men generally have a harder time communicating, I let it be known what my boundaries are and what I wouldn' t tolerate, this ia not unreasonable, if you need/ want alone time fine but just don' t ignore and/ or disappear on someone or you are eventually going to lose them and you can blame yourself, i' m not saying you have to talk everyday but communicate, be a grown up, people need to be called out sometimes on their shitty behaviour and maybe they don' t realize the way they are acting, he did become better after that.
