As spoken so beautifully by Fireproof the movie, "A woman is like a rose, you treat her right she'll bloom, but if you don't she'll wilt."
@cubed07245 жыл бұрын
Fireproof the movie was garbage and shows how women are absolved of all responsibility. The wife had an emotional affair with another man in the movie and didnt respect or love her husband. If anything the movies encouraged wives to break their vows if the husband isn't being perfect. The movie was disgusting.
@christianone66114 жыл бұрын
@@cubed0724 The same company that made Fireproof made another movie called "War Room" aimed ENTIRELY at women and their responsibility to God and their husband. It was beautiful. Fireproof was equally beautiful as it is aimed at men and their role. In the movie, when he apologizes, he says he is sorry for like 6 YEARS of TROMPING on her in every way. The movie begins AFTER his years of taking her for granted and emotionally abusing her, when she has given up and no longer cares about him and has lost all respect for him. So, yes, she's not perfect in the movie, just like the man in "war room" is not perfect. But it's about what a man can do to fix his marriage (even when he has done everything possible to destroy it before turning his heart to God.) Ideally...BOTH partners will do their part and walk humbly before the Lord. But realistically, usually one partner has to start the process alone and be committed to keeping THEIR OWN VOWS to God and their partner, whether the other person leaves them or not. I really appreciate both movies very much and I think both are very accurate about how men and women react and think very differently.
@cubed07244 жыл бұрын
@@christianone6611 The reason she stayed is because he gave her everything she wanted. She didn't respect him because he wouldn't use their savings to pay for her mom's treatment which he wanted to use for buying a boat he wanted even though she made plenty of money as a full time nurse. She never respected him and denied herself to him. Also when she was involved with the affair with the doctor who was married himself mind you and she didn't care. No, apology for stepping out on her husband. Basically the premise I got from the movie is do everything your wife wants or she'll leave you for another man and it's all about her happiness. The real digusting part of the movie I found was when the he found the love letters by the doctor to his wife and when he confronted the doctor who was married by the way, said, "You're not the only one pursing her, you've got competition." There is no competition period, they were married. If anything this movie represents the mentality of Christian's today where the women dominate the men and can break their vows at whim because it's all about the wives happiness.

And yet... I respectfully disagree. I can see how in the natural that thinking works, but it's not biblical. Because men fail and they need Jesus just as much as the ladies do. When we curse or withhold love for the men because they are not "performing" up to a preferred standard. When we absolve women of sin and give a little grace to men, we are creating a church of emasculated men who are controlled, not loved. Not honored. A business relationship, not marriage. I don't expect many true, born again Christians to like my comment. But read the bible. Abuse is not sanctioned from Jesus to a woman or a man. Love unconditionally. Peace.

I should not have clicked on the video, because, it is clear a woman feels triggered, when a man brings up that she is the weaker sex, i donot do this, i think a woman is in a way the stronger sex, it is scientific fact, that she can endure more pain that she has when birthing a child, and the fact, that she has the capacity to bring a child to life is beyond my comprehension. However, the new age is dangerous and to let it not take over traditional gender roles would us do no harm. I believe that god is just and we get what we deserve in the end. I hope, that we can learn to love one another unconditionally, because we are all sinners in a way or another. I forgive those who beat me in Jesus name. and ps: perhaps so should you, forgive those, who are not the way, as you would want them to be. ]

Loving God with all our might is the key in loving our wife/husband (irrespective of how that person behaves). After all that's exactly what my Lord does to me (the truly saved).

I really wish to meet a man like that. The women around me are all in unhappy marriages. I want something different if I ever marry. I need someone that can protect me, gentle but strong that I can count on. Someone I can respect, love and that will always be there for me.

@ Be Andal " The women around me are all in unhappy marriages" Maybe their husbands worship them too much and is unable to have sex with them... Typical of the modern western simp so afraid to touch his own wife because you know , women are such "treasures" !!! But women hate those men who treat them like china dolls !!

As a single woman, this feels really good to hear. :) In my opinion, this protective way of honouring is especially important, because women have a greater yearning of feeling safe, and so if I imagine that I could trust someone to attempt to protect me, it would make me have a lot more trust in that person.

How absolutely beautiful to hear this wise man share this! I feel so encouraged listening to this message. I am single-never married and no kids. My desire and dream is to marry someone like this - a man who honors God and who can honor me, as his wife. This contributes to a beautiful relationship. But women too should honor their husbands in their attitude towards them-we should also treat them with respect-being loving and caring. May God bless this speaker for sharing such a beautiful message!

@@hawk6143 This is how Piper and co maliciously keep women away from marriage by raising the bar for men in such an unscriptural way . Women made for and because of man kept away from marriage ! . So fornication can go full swing (to avoid sexual immorality , let every man have his wife (...) ) Good job Satan.

My husband is a “professing” Christian, He has me working 50+ hours a week while I’m walking around with cancer and other health problems. Doing even hard physical labor. Talking care of things that are clearly his responsibility. He’s abusive in every way except physical. Reason and logic, lovingkindness in communication do NOT work. He has annihilated me in every way including financially and I would appreciate prayers as I need to remove myself from this person. I believe they are not only ruled by their flesh, but possibly demonized. Thank you.

Dear one, God gave you talents to multiply and have stewardship over, not to let be drained out by an ungodly man or wolf in sheep's clothing. Biblically, you are to take him to the elders and if he does not repent, you do it again, and of he does not repent, you take him before the church, and if he does not repent, you are to have nothing to do with him. By repent, I do not mean saying "sorry". I mean "fruits meet for repentance" aka his words and actions match up, he is sincerely sorry and he doesn't go back to sinning. So for an abusive person, that's basically 3 chances. For a godly person who makes "innocent" or ignorant mistakes and sins and they correct themselves, you are to forgive them 7times x70 (an infinite amount). But God is never asking a woman to submit to an evil, rebellious, unloving, cruel man. A wolf in sheep's clothing is to be avoided to protect thy very self. If he stresses you to the point that you are unable to do basic self care steps like tending to your relationship with God, growing in his love, reading the word, serving God Christian's etc...then he is preventing you from multiplying your God given talents and you'll be ashamed in front of God that you lost all he gave to your stewardship by enabling an ungodly, abusive man. Some preachers are narcissistic and imply you should support and enable any man with any behavior. That is not true. Our first love and loyalty is to God and keeping his commandments and certainly respecting and honoring a godly loving man. Take care of you. Maybe this guy is reflecting the relationship you have with yourself...aka he always blames you and you always blame you. So change that dear one. Not by now blaming him but by no longer attacking yourself as a precious child of God. Receive the LOVE God has for you and be filled to overflowing by it. God bless you in healing. Maybe a demonic deliverance ministry will help you break any generational curses or unholy soul ties or cast out any evil oppression or possession stopping you thus far. I pray that all the generous abundance you tried to shower your partner with will come back to you ten fold and that you will be wiser about where you invest it in future. Invest in the people who love, support, respect, and cooperate with you in God's will, purpose, and destiny for your life. God bless you!

Cubed07 Good Question that many often ask with similar situations. Obviously he exhibited zero of this behavior prior to marriage or I would not have married him. First, I learned he is has NPD. I was unaware of this, as most are taken by surprise. I also believe this was an assignment from the Lord, however due to God’s gift to us of Freewill, he has chosen to take the route of his flesh rather than the Spirit of God in his behavior and responses to Life’s challenges. It’s very sad. I believ his prior behavior was not real fruit, but works..I seek to learn all I can out of the situation as I move forward and away. I lean on scripture God promises me years ago. Like all people, I have days I can’t handle the behavior as well I can as other days. I believe God is giving him many chances to repent before he dies.
