Hey Gabe and family. Just wanted to say first that you all rock! Since Crystal got back from her folks' place and both boys have moved into homeschooling, the change in your channel is awesome. You have always been my top 3 go to for excellent subject matter and quality family entertainment. I have learned so much from you Gabe. You're a great Dad and son. Never a doubt how much you love them all. As for Ms. Crystal, you have found her dude. Y'all are so good together. It's a no brainer when Y'all are together. If you travel between Eugene Island 314 oil platform and South Marsh Island 192 in a straight line, there’s a ledge that drops off 90’ and we used to catch huge wahoo there. The biggest being 98lbs. It’s about 40-50 miles south of Freshwater City, LA. We gave the numbers to a charter captain and he won a tournament the next weekend with Wahoo. Of course this was years ago, but wahoo are a stalking fish and like to come up from deep and use their speed to ambush. Also, at SMI 192, it’s right on the shelf and you can catch a crazy amount of blackfin tuna and grouper on diamond jigs.

I'm not sure if ur are going to read this or not but I just just wanted to tell u how I love watching ur stuff on you tube and how much it really help me out last year when I was going through my toughest year of my life. . At the start of 2023 I found out I had that I had esophagus cancer and in the middle of my treatments I got into a bad car accident that put me in a coma from May 20 2020 until June 23 then transferred to two more hospital to learn how much to walk again and to breath on my own. While I was rehabing to get off the vents later and then learning how to walk again instead of watching the regular cable channels once I got to my phone I started watching a lot of fishing shows on u tube urs was probably my favorite I know it's a lot more than other. I really think it really help motivate me to rehab faster so I can walk again cause i really miss fishing. After I got out of the hospital I had to start treatments over again. Every time I had to go sit and get chemo for 4 hours ever other week for almost 3 months I watch as much of ur channel as I could. Now for some reason I manage to get to get cancer free. I just to thank for ur show. It really help me get through chemo. I really think it pretty much help saved my life. It made me get positive and rehabing faster so I can go I can go fishing again. I still try watch evry show u put out. I wanted to say thank u

Venice,La is world class offshore fishing that middle class people can afford. There is oil industry along the banks of the Mississippi and I guess it has kept developers from building billion dollar resorts there. Plus the ride to deep water is so short fuel costs are minimal.

Crystal fighting the truck like that reminded me when I was a kid fishing in the Immokalee Rd Canal where I grew up in Naples ,,,, We used to snag our lines on the bridge pilings and when a car would come (not often back in the 70s n 80s) we would act like we had a huge fish doubling our rods over n acting like we were fighting a record bass or Snook and when they stopped we release our bails so the line went slack and we lost the supposed monster fish !!! Lol 🤣🤣🤣 when they pulled away we would LOL 😭😭😭 long b4 LOL was ever invented !!!! Good Old Days in SwFla !!! We used to catch Alot of fish too but we like to mess around as kids of course lol 🤣🤣🤣

We have a client here in Naples who live in a gated community with Multi Million $$ homes and a golf course,,,It's way out East on Immokalee Rd in what used to be the edge of the Glades and wilderness,,,It's full of Turkey n deer !! Everytime I work there turkeys are all over and so are deer !! I doubt they would approve if I shot them but it would be easy pickings the wildlife out there is crazy and they r kinda tame cause nobody bothers them they walk right through the front yards !! It's awesome

Hi Gabe Best way to build them fishing muscles is Hook a kite to the leader and let get up in the stratosphere , I`ve done this for decades I have a kite in my truck daily ,Not only does it build muscles it tunes your line in a brand new line has loops ,Fighting the wind gets rid of every bit of that and there`s not one single breath of wind the same let your line fly and it`s simple to bring home right , Plus you see bad spots on the line ,Oh I wish I could do this too Tuna WOW .
