The reason the police and the FBI never say this is because it’s not true. We just don’t see as many interrogations of innocent people who also say that. Lies are not detected by a single action but a combination of actions, there’s a great book by a former FBI agent about it.

I've been to her Facebook page. A few days after Lynn "passed away" she sold everything in her house, including her beloved Bette Davis and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia, personal/family pictures, furniture,... Even the lamp that can be seen on the crime scene pictures. She also threatened to put down Lynn's cats if nobody could take care of them, as that was Lynn's final wishes for them, if they couldn't find a new family, they would be better being put down. I don't know what happened to them. A few months later the house was totally empty, had a renovation and was put on sale. She's a monster.

Thank God for my daughter or I wouldn't be here right now, and no-one would be the wiser, thinking my illness finally got me. It wasn't about $$ for her, it was about wanting my husband. If you've never been an actual pathological liar, it is stunning (and disorienting) how easily and skillfully they move from one whopper of a lie right on to the next, without ever missing a beat, or breaking a sweat. This woman displays that behavior pretty clearly.

So true. Listening to Jessy reminded me so much of my ex-husband. He was a narcissistic pathological liar too. The man would come up with the most outrageous lies, often for no reason whatsoever. When caught red handed, he would flip the narrative to blame it on someone or something else. One time he even went so far while talking to the police that there was a conspiracy by... get this... the state of California to "bring him down." Yeah, the entire state of California was after him, as if he was anyone of importance. Only in his own mind, but to the world, he was just a sad insignificant liar with the intelligence of an earthworm. Ridiculous & laughable! Decades after I dumped his sorry ass, he ended up in a Florida state prison because the only person left on the planet to actually believe his BS crap, was a gullible 14 yr old that he groomed for months & convinced her to engage in a sexual relationship (he was 48 at the time). What a pathetic excuse for a human, a total waste of space & oxygen!

I went out with a guy who was a narcissist. He wasn't mean or dangerous or anything like that. However he lied non-stop. I did an experiment on him once where I complimented him in really overblown terms for something that wasn't true and he fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. It was pretty jarring. They lie all the time but also easily fall for others' lies, especially if those lies aggrandize themselves. They're not that smart, really.

Obviously everyone can be sickened by this story. But stories like this often hit harder if you’re able to empathize due to participating in a similar situation or field. Off topic: my mom left multiple nursing homes due to the abhorrent care, abuse and neglect carried out and allowed/covered up by administration. Narcissists are known for lying all the time. They even lie when there is no real objective. Just lie for the hell of it. I always thought it had to do with proving over and over to themselves that they are smart and everyone else is an idiot. Even a half-hearted "really?" in response is enough for those weirdos. For the narcissist to comfort themselves that person is, of course, inferior to themselves. Apparently psychologists and psychiatrists often say that narcissists are usually beyond help.

Thanks, Mike, for the video. This tale is incredible. Honestly, the hand that's feeding got bitten, hard. Loyalty and respect, and appreciation were slung out the window where money came in, and Jessy had dollar signs for eyes. Milking Lynn behind her back, she then crept ito a position where getting rid ofLynn doubled to not only clear the path to Lynn's assets, but 'impress' her BF. Funny how they think 2+2=5, and that's fine. She poisons Lynn, lays the scene with pure narcotics to fake an overdose, when it'd take even a chemistry student little to decipher something wrong with the scene. Then Jessy CONTACTS the authorities constantly with questions about Lynn. They must have been thinking 'she is suspect no.1'. How more obvious could she be?? Aside from actually confessing. And then the interviews. More whoppers than BK, trying to think on the spot, it was as if they were givig her enough rope to eventually hang with. And then the attempt to fake a recording of Lynn, confessing to suicide, exonerating Jessy....she really thought she stood a chance like that?!? I'm surprised her ex took the call from her in jail... When Jessy said 'I didn't kill her, I wouldn't, she's like family to me....', how often have we heard this??

Andrew Pozzo is the hero of this story. Without him feeling something was wrong about the management of the estate, Jessy would have gotten away with everything. I watched the trial and it was a doozy. During the year before Lynn's death, Jessy systematically stole everything of value that Lynn had and, when Lynn's bank accounts were drained and her credit run up to the max, offed her. The prosecution did an excellent job of teasing out the financial mess. I suspect that much of the health trouble Lynn had toward the end of her life was caused by Jessy spiking her water with just enough Visine to keep her sick, off balance and in need of a "care giver." Jessy could teach a master class on pathological lying...
