i think it`s funny how at 0:22 the pirate king just walks in front of samuel lol. i play samuel in a theater group`s production of pirates of penzance jr. and when mabel says hold monsters before the major general comes out she has to open her parasol really fast like a weapon at me and i`m supposed to jump away. when i did it on stage the whole audience laughed hystericaly. it made me feel good about myself :)

This version with Angela Lansbury has NOT been released on DVD that I've ever seen - only on LaserDisc. If you've seen a DVD of it - it must have been from outside the US. Either way, I'd love to get the details if one exists.

Angela Lansbury played the original Mrs. Lovett on stage for SWEENEY TODD - I don't think the post asked if this was Helena - just if it was Mrs. Lovett!
