btw, saw some comments about this: I am aware of the 1.18 update for minecraft, I mention it at 3:06. It was the trailer for part 1 of the update, but I was referring to the caves part specifically, hopefully it made sense in context. Also when I put botw on screen when I was talking about triple A games, I was using botw as an example of a triple A game, not a game that was boring.

One thing i have to say though is that Pokemon is kinda going down a good path here? I mean yeah, some people have complained the XP Share as it is is broken because it gives too much XP, but honestly, when i did a casual playthrough of BDSP, i didn't mind the XP Share, actually, it was just on point. I never felt like i was massively overleveled, but i do remember making it through Victory Road with relative ease, just for the first Elite 4 member to straight up bitchslap me several times. Once i defeated him, the rest of the Elite 4 was easy going. That is, until i reached Cynthia, who wiped me with her Milotic. Yes, her Milotic, i didn't even make it to Garchomp on my first few attempts. And once i did, it, too, bitchslapped me, until i remembered that my Alakazam has a fairy type attack, and even then, i barely survived that duel.

in minecraft the armorer, the weaponsmith and the toolsmith all unlock diamond tool trades once they fully level up, so you can essentially get infinite diamond equipment if you just make a protected village and upgrade them all, and it saves a ton of time compared to mining so much.

Grind is basically just filler for games, it’s fine but only to a certain point. In a perfect world, there would be little to no grind in video games, but if that were the case in this world then most games would be 3-5 hours long.

As an avid F2P genshin player the rng system is for sure screwed over and better for some users than others my best example is having 2 accounts. On my second account I have significantly better luck and items. I pulled two five star characters in a 2 month frame which never would've happened on the old account. Still takes that time to grind and earn but as you stated the rewards are worth it and viable.(IMO) My first account had no luck and I was constantly snubbed with poor items. It is very unfair and when creating an account you just have to hope the system is kind to you. If not it is quite a pain getting nothing for the effort put in. Which is a shame too because the game is beautiful and has a good story/lore.
