I remember in highschool I tried to install a mod for Skyrim which introduced booba physics. To make it work you had to install some custom skeletons and a shitton of other mods, and I don't think it worked for me in the end. The only questlines I've done in Skyrim are the Thieves' Guild and the main quest until getting into the Thalmor embassy. I have 76 hours recorded on Steam and I really wonder if I was so horny and dedicated back then

Fun fact: Leviathan from BO3 is a remaster from the map in World at War, and that mod is even better. They remade every mechanic such as the dash you do while using the knife to make it mechanically as similar to BO1 as possible

Straight-up zombies campaign, classic zombies mode, mission mode, map editor, gallery (going over everything that has happened in zombies lore and history in the making), and maybe even a zombies inspired multiplayer with the killstreaks being wonder weapons and zombies related stuff. Just go head first into the idea and make it it’s own thing.

I think we're past its big boom. A lot of twitch streamers will tell you that, unless you're one of the big strealers, you will not make a living out of it. In youtube it's still a bit more fluide, with new channels still finding their fanbases, but you will probably get less money out of it. The players are set, and the auxiliary positions (thumbnails and emotes artists, mods, etc... ) are being filled rapidly. The platforms are also set, with KZbin, Twitch and Tik Tok (everybody else trying to copy one of those three), so not much will change there. I think our current creator climate will mostly stay the same for the years to come, only changing if youtube panics again and creates another adpocalips.

Want to shoutout Enderal: Forgotten Stories because it was like many Skyrim mods. It was an ambitious attempt to use Skyrim to build a new world and story. They succeeded and now they have it as a FREE standalone game version on Steam as well, what a crazy time to be alive.

One of my favourite examples of a mod really improving and pushing a game is the Long War mod for the Xcom games. A mod that overhauls the game in so many ways which makes it so much more fun and difficult at the same time. It's so good that the literal developers of Xcom have stated that Xcom 2 is just a tutorial for Long War 2, it's THAT good that developers are telling you your mod is a more fleshed out version of your game.

When it comes to game mods one of my favorite all time mods has to be the Calamity mod for Terraria, for this free mod that pretty much doubles the base game content while adding post Moon Lord content is great on its own. The content when it comes is the new class the Rogue they introduce. Easily the best part has to be the sound track for bosses, for a free mod they have music that just SLAPS. Like damn I never would expect a free mod to give some amazing songs to just listen to

This channel's content kind of makes me feel like I'm relating to a childhood friend, the content isn't belabored or trying to meet specific conventional standards to maximize revenue. It's just Bricky giving his opinion on what he enjoys, there's almost a natural conversation like flow where he goes from talking about a topic and then into certain details that can become the next major topic discussed. The content is memorable because there seems to be so much of the creator invested into the content and the humor adds to it as well. If my feed was filled with content like this and not the mass garbage clickbait that exists solely to take my attention for a few minutes before they are forgotten forever my life would be massively improved. The viewers might fluctuate on these sorts of Bricky videos but I believe the quality is still maintained.

the decision to allow custom zombies maps officially on steam is probably the smartest decision made for any call of duty game considering how dedicated the zombies community is, it just makes sense to let them do it themselves and honestly a lot of the custom maps are leagues better than most official zombies maps.

I wish you had included TZ_Ghosts' Der Riese Declassified custom map. Where the entire map reused the original map and a lot of weapons from WAW and WWII, he had added a full fledged easter egg with cinematic moments and cutscenes. It is definitely one of the more technically impressive maps out there for Black Ops 3.

I love Factorio and I've been playing a mod called Space Exploration. Vanilla Factorio ends with you launching a rocket to escape the planet you've crash landed on. With the mod, launching the rocket is only the end of the early game, as you can then go and build on other planets, build bases in orbit, transport resources by rockets between planets and do a ton more interesting things. If you tried to sell me that mod as a DLC for 20 bucks, I would have believed it.

I did all this when I was 10 years old. An old gateway PC. Halo modding tools v3.5 was it? The 3D modeling was something I never got into, but it was easy pasting custom bipeds or the square image of the entire “skin”. The. Also messing with player values weapon values and the physics and stuff. You can achieve most this stuff just with changing the values. My absolutely fave thing to do was replace blood gulch map with one that has UNsC marines spawning at one base & a bunch of covenant on the other… it sucks they didn’t map out their vehicles but they still ran to the middle to fight and kept spawning… covenant usually won. That was my dream come true …. Also using a 3rd person camera cause at the time I was hooked on RE4.
