For those who may not know. a Mitzva is a divine commandment. And mitzvot ( plural) are commandments. There are positive mitzvot , you shall do ,and negative mitvot ,or commandments Do NOT do ! for example, do not murder, do not steal etc

Dear Rabbi , there are reasons , but there is also a higher level where there are no reasons, where reasons are superfluous .Why? Because.

Did you just say that God does not know why He gave us the commandments
@DrKaii4 жыл бұрын
"Don't know" the way you are using it means "there is a reason, I just don't know what the reason is". This is not the point. The point is there isn't a reason at all. It's just the way He is

Rabbi --You have all my respect and I consider myself normal at best. I just have a question for you and forgive me for asking this question>>why have you never said the word "love".

What is the evidence that ALL or any of the mitzvot were commanded by G-d and not created by human beings? Human beings makes arbitrary demands that don't make sense as well. One needs to decide what to have faith in and what is truth? How is the Torah perfect if we no longer follow everything that is in it like slavery, stoning and multiple wives? Kings or queens no longer have the power to command that their will, arbitrary or not, be obeyed as law.
