In a comedy club, though, I would give more leniency, as it's obviously for jokes, yet this comedian's INTENT was imo to just be cruel when he said "you were snitchin". His previous insults, I felt, were warranted, however. At that point security missed out big on a chance to just drag the fkr out, yet they slept on it (prob they enjoy lawsuits or sum).

there's a problem, "comedians" try to tell "jokes" when in fact they just talk about sensitive things like race, politics, mental illness... and other triggering subjects, and expect nothing to go wrong, watch this video again or similar videos and look for this pattern, it keeps repeating.... i blame both the "comedians" and hecklers for this, even after the initial heckler retaliation, there's a social cue and a chance to be like "ok, i hit a nerve, let's move on", but the "comedians" make the mistake of pushing back for the sake of being funny by fighting with the heckler, turning it into a spectacle instead, and in 75-80% of those occurrences it ends up physical, like throwing sticks at the bear/lion and thinking they will not pounce and maul

When I started doing comedy I got fantastic advice: “You don’t have to do black rooms (I’m white) but if you are gonna, stay strong and keep going because it’s gonna be very tough. You might get hurt and discouraged and that’s up to you - but the good thing is, once you can do black rooms successfully you can perform successfully anywhere.” I have since given up stand-up after a fun ten years, but it took at LEAST 5-6 years before I could work anywhere. Comedy is easy to try but very very hard to succeed at.
