Love your latest adventure. I grew up in Auckland and spent many weekends on the coromandel peninsula as a teenager. If you get the chance I my personal choice for the most beautiful place in Coromandel is the Kauaeranga Valley. It is just below Thames and it is an old gold mining and logging valley. The road goes to the Pinnacles an is an awe inspiring place. When I was a teenager the road had a gate on it and was very rough now the is a sealed road and a beautiful visitors centre. In my not so humble opinion one of the most beautiful places in New Zealand.

We have visited our daughter, in Taupo, NZ a few times. One visit we explored Coramandel, fished the mussel farms and enjoyed Cathedral Cove. We really enjoyed all your NZ videos. This one was great. So great from the storytelling to the shooting, editing, use of music, and natural sound...all so great. Just the driving scene alone is a shining example of how hard you work to make every minute interesting to watch. I noticed that you set up a tripod, or something, backed the car up, and rolled past, I noticed the variation of shots in that car...and I could go on and on. EVERY tv news editor and young TV reporter who is forced to shoot their own stuff should watch how you guys produce stories, just so great, every time. You are the best of the best! Great stories are much more about feelings than facts and you always deliver something that makes people feel good, over half a million of us now...wow.
