ONLY an adult should even be allowed that decision (and with counciling/education at that, so they are completely aware what they are getting into); to do this to young kids and teens is outright child abuse. I've seen clips/articles such as where parents will say something like "our toddler son likes to try on his older sister's clothes sometimes", and they'll use that as a basis that the poor boy should be made a girl. Young kids do all kinds of stuff in curiosity, while playing, as a joke, or whatever, doesn't mean they think themselves a girl. Young girls sometimes dress in boys' clothes or act tomboyish... those were called redneck rough and tumble girls in my day. People I think forgot what it was like to be a kid, and trying to turn every little thing into some out-of-proportion thing. I say let kids be kids, without ruining their minds.
