Are you well organised in one aspect of your life and completely chaotic in others? Like knowing when someone moves one of your books even one milimiter and being annoyed with that, meanwhile not remembering where you left the TV remote control or your jacket?
In this TEDx talk Dr. Khurram Sadiq takes us in the world of people who have both ASD and ADHD and what it feels like to be living with the two. As he himself has both, he says
“ASD and ADHD can co-exist together”
This is the end of people’s journey seeking answers why order and anarchy are living in the same person’s body and mind. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the Order, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is the Anarchy, #ASD is Khurram’s perseverance, #ADHD is his fuel. If you find out that you have both ASD and ADHD, remind yourself that you have something very special that others don’t, which gives you a unique identity - #neurodiversity . Own it, cherish it, embrace it and learn how to harness its power.
Dr Khurram Sadiq is a Lead ADHD Consultant Psychiatrist in Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. He is a Public Speaker, Blogger, Vlogger and a Leadership coach.

About TEDx: In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized
